Doran's Item Set Idea!

With the new starting items coming along, why not take Doran's items and let them build into something as in... Doran's Blade replaces Long Sword. Doran's Ring replaces Amplifying Tomb, Doran's Shield to replace Cloth Armor to stop those items from being sold or being completely useless after so long and allow it to have worth.

I'm pretty sure they considered it, 'cuz (I'm paraphrasing here) they said that they'd rather keep the Doran's items as purely early game items with no upgrade paths because they're stat efficient starters. If the current iterations of the Doran's items upgraded into anything else, their cost would go up by a lot ( item 1055 , for example, would probably cost a little below item 1053 )
