Riot and its wierd skin/champion decisions

Just find the timing weird on all the skin releases pretty much every time i can think of anything they release these skins right before something gets nerfed like ahri for example is getting her q tuned down BOOM skin, ekko just got a bunch of nerfs and is probably gonna get one for tank ekko BOOM skin, riven is getting a huge nerf because 2 of her main counters are getting huge buffs BOOM skin and those are just the ones on top of my head i mean maybe its to keep popularity up but in all reality it just means to me yay i can play arcade riven if i feel like getting thrashed or yay ahri is slightly less good do i really wanna buy this skin. This is pretty much just me wondering how all that comes together because you might wanna work on your timing if you wanna increase sales do it after the nerfs have fit into the game. (Side note yay elise nerf glad we all got victorious elise just for u to fuck her consistently into a playstate that is unusable.)
