Please make autofill a choice thing. If someone prefers to wait more time just to get his prefered lane, let him have an option to. It would really make some people rage less and make the game more enjoyble for some. This could be a specific ranked thing or just a draft update.
I'd much rather not have auto fill exist at all.
Getting auto-filled players in low elo is a death sentence to the game, as 9/10 times the player hasn't ever played the role.
20 minutes for a game where people actually have an idea of how to play their role, versus 2 minutes for an auto-loss because my ADC plays like a turret. Sign me up for the 20 minute wait.
Atleast remove it from promos, if your in your promotionals then you get an autofill free team. Its beyond stupid that I will grind for 4 hours to reach my promos only to get an autofilled

I'm ok with auto-fill for one of the two primary roles, but putting people into roles they are not familiar with is a really bad practice, it really devalues the match making. Like if I'm a Jungler on a team, it's basically a 4vs5.. I'm pretty sure most teams would rather I go AFK instead of trying to be a jungler, I will do more harm then good.
You want to almost never get autofilled? Just restart que time before it reach aprox time. Never accept if someone doge, instead reset que time.

Everytime I got promos I was either autofilled OR I had 2-3 autofills xD
wish everybody got their roles and me in promos so everything goes smoothly
problem with that is no one will choose to have autofill, they might as well remove it altogether
