Corsair Quinn - Valor Plumage

I am very happy Quinn is getting a new skin, I really enjoy the champion and her playstyle. However, I was very, very, dissapointed when I saw how Valor looked in the new skin. The splashart shows (to me at least) a nice orange plumage with bright blue at the tip of the feathers. Ingame, Valor's plumage is extremely dull and nothing like the splashart. The mix of bright orange and bright blue would have looked very, very cool. Please fix this Riot, I really would love the change. I understand some people believe that Valor was modeled after a different bird, not a macaw, for this skin. However, I would like for you to look at the splashart before voting. In the splashart, the bright orange and blue colors, and likeness to a macaw are undeniable. I added a picture of the macaw I think the design was based off of just to show the colors that would look reeeally cool for this pirate concept.

I agree, the splash art does make it look bright orange and blue, It would look very nice if they made this change. :D

Well they showed it off as being colourful in the splash. It's only fair it represents that ingame.

I prefer the more muted colors and was happy thats what they went with. Valor is modeled after an Osprey (Sea Eagle) so he should not have the super bright colorings of a parrot. He was likely brightened up in the splash so that he would stand out more against the dark background. Plus I think that it is EXTREMELY RARE for Riot to make any changes to skins after they have been released (not counting reworks) and only do so when there is a huge problem. (Side note: I believe at the very end of the PBE cycle his colors were brightened a little to better match the splash, at least more so than when he was first shown. Perhaps this was their happy medium)

I hope Riot will eventually see this thread and do something. They spent so much time on Debonair Galio, they even changed Aatrox. But they give us this pale, faded version of Valor. This was a great disappointment for me. I was going to buy that skin even though I already have Woad Scout Quinn. The idea is so great, splash art is fascinating, Quinn looks amazing. But Valor literally ruins everything. I am very upset about it. Dear Riot, don't leave it like that, please.

I dunno, the current look fits the muted Bilgewater colors pretty well. Besides, that's not a parrot, it's an osprey aka fish hawk. Perfect for the skin. Phoenix has bright colors pretty much covered. She's not exactly a pirate captain here, so I don't see why she needs crazy bright colors.

Honestly, I really like the darker/duller colors of the actual model, but I would support changing the colors to be brighter because I'm absolutely sick of Riot's habit of lying to us through splash arts.

I'd prefer Riot give us a 'random skin' button so when I can't decide what Quinn skin to use I can just choose that, but I can get behind this too.

Yes. Riot f#cked up not making Valor a Parrot. Quinn mains, me among them, have been asking for a Pirate/Bilgewater Quinn skin SINCE RELEASE because we want Valor to be a Parrot.

My account is QUITE LITERALLY named after my Parrot.

I think slightly brighter would be nice, but I don't think you could go too bright without making Valor look like he does in Quinn's base skin.

the colors in the model do look a little dull.

Macaws are pretty big birds, and can be very loyal companions.

I'd like to see something brighter. Phoenix is good. Wood is terrible. Corsair is decent I guess. Kinda middle of the road, bordering on dull.
