While playing this game I have realized that there are very few "anti-mages" in this game. Kassadin was one and Maokai is one. Since the removal of his silence, Kassadin doesn't feel much like an anti-mage anymore; Maokai doesn't feel like an anti-mage at all.

In the previous lore, mages were held in check by the institute of war. With the changes, the institute does't exist anymore and, in a world where beasts like Syndra (let'l get a fortress floating) exist, there has to be another organisation that watches the mages.

Teshlok is an overseer of this organisation. He watches over the mages in his jurisdiction and enforces law and order. He is a melee fighter with a buch of abilities that disable (or disrupt) mages (especially of the spammy kind) Teshloks weapon is a staff (or Naginata-like weapon)

Abilities

Passive: Mages' Agony Upon damaging an enemy unit with an ability, Autoattacks in the next 0.5/1/2/3 seconds against the same unit silence it for 0.25 seconds. This effect can only occur against the same target once every 10/8/6/5 seconds.

Q: Punishing strike Teshlok strikes with his staff in a straight line, stopping at and damaging the first enemy hit, knocking him back. The knockback distance and damage depend on how close Teshlok is to the target. The closer he is, the more damage he deals and the farther the knockback.

Minimum damage: 10/40/70/100/140 (+1.0 AD) Maximum damage: 20/80/140/200/280 (+2.0 AD) Minimum knockback: 150 Maximum knockback: 300

Range: 550 Mana cost: 65/70/75/80/85 Cooldown: 15/13/11/9/8 seconds

W: Condescend Teshlok creates a barrier around himself, that reflects the next 1/1/2/2/3 incoming non-autoattack projectiles. Duration: 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds

Range: 70 (self centered) Mana cost: 100/90/80/70/60 Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12

E: Polejump Teshlok jumps on his staff into target direction, dodging all projectiles while he is in the jump animation (approx. 0.25s) and dealing damage at the landing area. While on his staff he can reactivate this ablility to jump to target enemy, kicking him in the face (...or whatever it is on that level), landing in front of that enemy and stunning him. If he doesn't reactivate the ability he jumps back to his initial position abter 0.5 seconds.

R: Oppression Teshlok releases an oppressing aura, that hinders the enemies in his proximity to cast magic, increasing the cooldown of their spells and dealing damage for each spell cast.

Cooldown increase: 3/6/9 seconds Damage: 100/150/200 (+0.5 AD) (+0.4 AP)

Range: 600 Duration: 5/7/10

Mana cost: 100 Cooldown: 120/110/100

Well, that's Teshlok; please tell me how you liked him. I am kind of concerned,. though that his lack of waveclear and escapes could become a problem...
