Zyra rework ideas

So I have played Zyra a bunch and is my favorite champion by far but I would like to take her back in the mid lane some times. So here's some of my ideas

New Passive magical thorns 10 sec cd Spells and basic attacks against Zyra cause's the dealer to be poisons slowing by 5% stacking up to 5 times. At 5 stacks the victim becomes paralyzed "rooted" .5/1/1.5 sec based on level.

One of biggest problems on Zyra is lack of mobility. A defense passive that also could have some synergy with her plants. I think a damage would push her over the top in damage.

Q: I think is fine and W interaction would be the same.

W: Zyra plants a seed at target location after 20 sec the seed germinates if it's in a bush. Germinated seeds last for 2 min and when a enemy champion walks near them it grabs and slows them by 25% for 1 secs and revels them. CD and storage would be the same.

I think this would be a cool way for Zyra who is a jungle plant champion to interact with it. Right now it is usely a waste to use your not with a spell. But there is a trade off of being safer in lane by using seeds. And being able to do more damage.

E: Active spell would be the same. But seeds hit by her E turn into a briar patch for 5 sec that is untargetable. Enemy champions that walk through it take damage and are slowed. Enemy champions that use a dash ability in or through it take a large chunk of damage and briefly slowed after. The damage while in it would be lower.

One thing I always found odd was Zyra was considered a zoning mage. Her E'd seeds are not that use full against ranged champions and are usely killed. This would give her some zoning ability that can't just be killed or requires her to attack them.

R: Would be the same but would cause the briar patch would grow.

So here's my thoughts. Just wanted to put them down mostly. So what do you think.

Idea for zyra rework

Passive: whenever zyra is rooted her attack range increases by 100 yards after 5/10/20/40/60 seconds starting at 200 (her base will be 500) up to 700. Onxr she reaches 700 it increases by 50 range up to 900 then 25 after 900 up to 1200. Her auto attacks become melee and her roots are what attack. Her roots visually grow equal to her attack range and deal damage equal to her attack damage plus 10% of her maximum health as magic damage. Zyra also gains 25 health each time her roots grow. This health is lost when she unroots.

Q: vine lash zyra shoots a vine from her and all wall vines in a direction. The first unit hit by any of her vines is stunned for 1 second dealing magic damage.

W: root/unroot Active: Zyra roots herself to the ground becoming unable to move. Her roots then grow. If her roots touch terrain a untargetable wall vine grows there stunning any unit that approaches it dealing damage. It only attacks once every 4 seconds. Passive: zyra heals herself equal to 4% of her maximum health every 5 seconds while rooted. Allies standing on her roots are healed by 10% of this amount E: zyra flips up her roots in a line dealing damage to any enemy unit hit and snaring it. R: active: zyra knocks up any enemy units standing on her roots dealing damage Passive: zyras root growing time is reduced by 15/25/50%

That was my idea. Much crazier. What do you think

The passive might be abit strong at least without a cooldwon, I could see people simply building tank zyra to abuse it.

Over 100 ranked games with zyra this season, I'm a regular zyra mains reddit poster as well.

I like the passive Idea but I want to tweak it

Remove the slow, too strong. But I like the root but instead have it scale the duration of the root with AP (like .5 second per 100 ap, max cap at 1.5 seconds) instead of level, that way tank zyra isnt a thing, and she doesnt have a crazy passive people will cry about unless she builds AP. This will also balance out mid and support zyra and give mid zyra a slight edge which she dearly needs.
