Intense skins, for an underappreciated champion :) VOTE 4 YOUR FAV!
Okay, so look, I recently bought Bard (and I love him he's so fun to play and unique!) and while I was thinking about Bard's skin and chroma pack, some really cool ideas came to me so I thought i would run them by the community and see if you guys would buy them!
- So my first idea is for Halloween. We've pretty much all seen that really nice looking Elderwood Bard skin, and i thought it would be an amazing idea for Halloween, to make cheery, nice Bard, into a more dark sinister character. I've been heavily interested in character design in games for most of my life, and a dark, creepier Bard really appeals to me. HERE is my idea.
- Imagine our nice, bright, friendly coloured Bard. Now imagine a Bard with a colour theme of dark greys and blacks with glowing translucent red meeps. He would be a tree or something similar, and like Elderwood Bard, he would have one eye, bright but creepily red, like the knotted tree is staring into your soul. He would have gnarled arms and legs, and maybe a few stray branches to make him more rugged, and some very subtle red veins to add to a vampiric sort of tone to him. In addition, his mouth could be slightly wider as if twisted into a permanent moan of pain, and all of his noise are made one pitch lower. Also, instead of bells chiming whenever, they could be gongs or church bells to be creepier. It would feel so cool to have a sinister gnarled bard for Halloween, maybe with a noose around him for added effect, because I would love a Bard that strikes fear into people as he emerges from the jungle (because he is literally always in the jungle).
- My second idea really meshes well with the water themed skins, and also with the announced new pirate-y skins coming out, I thought what a great idea for Bard to have one!
- Hear me out here, I know some of you may not like Bard, or think he's useless, and you are entitled to your opinion, BUT if you like aesthetics in video games as much as i do, here's an idea you will LOVE. Bard has a long beard, and is said to be extreeeeemely old, which made me think, what do old people do. Instantly, it came to me! (no not gentleman Bard although that might be really nice) FISHING! Old men LOVE to FISH! So he could have his collectible chimes replaced with BUOYS! It fits so WELL! (buoys are the bobby things by piers and docks) His meeps could turn into squid, which would be super easy because of the shape of the meeps (just add more legs as tentacles). Also, from here, we could turn him into Fisherman Bard, with overalls, boots and an old man mask, ORRRRR we could make Deep Sea Bard, like davey jones (ALSO FITS SO WELL WITH THE BEARD) and he could have tentacles as a beard, along with a peg leg, be covered in barnacles and algae like he just came out of the ocean caves, and even a pirate hat to replace his hat/horn!
