My thread got deleted last time because it was in the wrong section(I thought for something else :P), here it is again!

Things to note:

  • The long hair is a HUGE plus and a MUST!
  • The (proper) 2-handed giant axe makes him look like a badass mofo
  • Big shoulder armor on one side is called stylish baby!
  • This is how a skin color should look like on an undead person, not the big fat ugly blue ogre stuff

The art used is of Death, from the game, Darksiders 2 and is property of THQ. He has tons of armor and weapons for you to get extra inspirations from !!!

Just something you should add: the art used is of Death, from the game, Darksiders 2 and is property of THQ. Just be sure to give full credit where credit is due.

In any case, I think it makes a great comparison. If Sion looked like Death, he'd be a complete badass. And I think that's how he needs to be. An undead, axe-wielding, behemoth that brings terror and fear everywhere he goes.

I always felt Sion was supposed to be a bit of a goofball.

This certainly fits his theme, just not my personal vision of him.

I see more of a young Frankenstein-esque comedic side to Sion.

I'd say definitely use this as an inspiration source, but I still feel Sion would need some variation from Death. Sion is not from the same game environment as Death and so needs his own unique traits to properly fit him into the world of League of Legends, not the world of Darksiders.

Like I said, very cool direction and I like it. But this should only inform direction and at the end of the day if you gave me that exact design, I would be disappointed.

Well directly copying something from another video game is a little bit much in my opinion. I mean yeah that'd be cool and everything but why wouldn't you want something.. More original?
