Scallop, Pirate of the Plague Jungles

The Plague Jungles are a mysterious place seeping with magic. Some of this magic, the inhabitants of the jungles absorb and become something greater. One of these inhabitants is an otter. This otter swam in one of the rivers in the jungles. As the otter swam his years away, he absorbed great magical powers from it. He could summon the currents of the river wherever he was to carry him away. One day, this magical current swept him to the outskirts of the Plague Jungles.

He was bewilered. What he saw before him were the Sablestone Mountains. He had only ever saw them from a distance. He then made the decision to pass through these mountains. With the help of his current, he was able to climb the mountain with ease, despite all the dangerous obstacales he came across. Once he crossed the mountains, he kept moving east.

He finally came to a city, filled with the tiny creatures known as Yordles. He was taken aback by the surrounding buildings, bustling streets, and odd technology. Some of the Yordle inhabitants started to take notice of the otter, and began to approach him. The otter became startled and summoned his magical current to take him away. The current led him to the Yordle docks, which had several boats stopped at them, and a few coming in and leaving. The otter decided to enter one of the boats to hide, once he found a nice spot to hide, he layed down to rest.

Once he woke up he noticed the boat was swaying back and forth. It felt to him like he was swimming in the rivers of the Plague Jungles once more. He knew at once that the boat was floating in the giant water source he saw earlier. He decided to go to the up to the deck to see where he was. Once he reached the deck, he noticed there were others on the boat with him. They didn't look like the tiny inhabitants of Bandle City however. They were much larger, dirtier, and looked unfriendly. While observing the large creatures, one of them snuck up behind him and caught him. They locked him in a cage and took him into a big room with a map. The creature that caught him said his name was Gangplank. The salty pirate at that point gave him a scallop to eat. The otter was surprised by the kindness being shown by his captor. The otter took the scallop happily and attempted to say his captor's name. "Gang... Gangpla!" Ganplank bellowed out a laugh and let the otter out of his cage. The two became very close on their journey over the seas. Gangplank and his crew turned out to be a lot kinder than the otter had thought, and they tought him how to speak as well. Gangplank decided to name the otter "Scallop" after his love for scallop's. Scallop seemed very pleased with his title.

For the rest of the journey, Ganplank tought him his pirate ways. Nearing the end of their trip at sea, Gangplank handed Scallop a weapon to protect himself with, it was a small cannon that shot scallop shells. After this, Gangplank, Scallop, and the rest of their crew set foot on the docks of Bilgewater. Scallop decided he would stay with Gangplank as his companion. And the two of them traveled across the sea together from that point on, creating a numerous amount of adventures.
