Anjula, the Battle Dancer - Champion Concept
Quick Overview
Anjula is an Ionian battle dancer working at Hirana's Great Monestary. There, she protects the Ionian government, cleaning up their trails and methodically eliminating anyone that might get in the way of their employer's secret goal. With her ally, Jhin, she eliminates the vastaya and those that side with their cause, so that the council's reserve of power might go undisturbed.
Within game this translates to a lethal assassin, one that can pick off high-priority targets via long-ranged dashes and escape (or outplay) the remaining foes with brief moments of stealth.

#KIT
P - Quickstep
Anjula's movements grow more nimble with each attack she performes, granting her a burst of 10/20/30/40/50/60% Movement speed that decays down to 5/10/15/20/15/30% over 1.5 seconds upon landing a basic attack. This ability provides in-combat mobility for Anjula that requires risk (Getting into melee range) without having to use her R - Sakura Veil
Q - Slashing Waltz
30/40/50/60/70 Mana | 13/11/9/7/5 Second Cooldown Anjula Poises her blade and strikes carefully, empowering her next three basic attacks to deal 10/25/40/55/70 (+10% bAD) (+15% AP) bonus magic damage. The final attack is a lethal lunge that has 250 Range, ignores 30% Bonus armor and instead deals 15/40/65/80/95 (+20% bAD) (+30% AP) (+8% enemy's missing health). These three attacks have 40/45/50/55/60% increased attack speed. _This ability provides a clear momet of power for Anjula - the third strike. The execution is to help with assassinations and the delay on the ability is intended to give the opponent some time to react. The attack speed is for smoothness, as well as ensuring Anjula doesn't have to build attack speed to be viable. _
W - Woven Tango
70 Mana | 16/15/14/13/12 Second Cooldown | 800 Range | 2500 Speed Anjula throws her Ribbon, inviting the target to dance. Targets hit by the ribbon are dealt 20/40/60/80/100 (+50% AP) magic damage and marked for 1.5 seconds. Marked targets are revealed, take 50% bonus damage from the sweep component of E - Heavenly Foxtrot, and take 25% bonus damage from the third strike of Q - Slashing Waltz. This ability allows Anjula to more easily engage onto a target with a long-ranged E, while also gating some of her damage behind landing a skillshot. The damage is low because most of this ability's worth comes from the damage amp.
E - Heavenly Foxtrot
60 Mana | 10 Second Cooldown | 500/900 Range | 3000 Speed (+20% Bonus Movement Speed) Anjula leaps forward and spins around her ribbons, dealing 20/40/60/80/100 (+5% AP) magic damage to all enemies she passes over. Upon reaching her destination, Anjula sweeps her ribbons on a cone, dealing 40/70/100/130/160 (+60% bAD) magic damage to all enemies in a cone in front of her. This ability has bonus cast range against champions marked by W - Woven Tango. _This allows Anjula to engage an enemy from afar to perform her assassination. The bonus range means she cannot use it as an effective escape and is reliant on landing W to get a truly long-range engage. _
R - Sakura Veil
100 Mana | 60/40/20 Second Cooldown | 975 Range Passive: Upon gaining a kill or assist, Anjula is enveloped in a Sakura Veil, gaining 120% of her passive movement speed decaying over 0.75 seconds and a 1 second stealth. The cooldown of E - Heavenly Foxtrot is reset upon entering Sakura Veil. Upon casting W - Woven Tango or E - Heavenly Foxtrot, the stealth is removed Active: Anjula blankets the nearby area in petals, gaining Sakura Veil. After casting W - Woven Tango or E - Heavenly Foxtrot, or autoattacking, you return to stealth after 1 second, if you are within the blanket of petals. When enveloped by Sakura Veil, taking damage will result in a brief pink-tinted shadow, and will cause Anjula to leave a trail of Cherry Blososm Petals for 0.5 seconds. _The passive allows Anjula to gain bonuses without expending her ultimate. The Ultimate sets up a clear area that Anjula is powerful in, and allows enemies to kite away from the blossom blanket. However, the power of the ultimate is also very reliant on the Anjula player, meaning confident players can enter the zone and outplay Anjula in her own territorty. Because it gives no combat buffs, the effectiveness is tied to the skill of both players involved. _
#Builds
Mid Lane - Slayer
As a mid lane Burst Assassin, Anjula is able to cleanly execute most squishy targets with a WEQ combo. Duskblade will give her a lot of bonus damage when she initiates. Yoummus allows her to E into a fight more quickly for a swift execution. Her roams can be quite strong vs immobile champions that will have a hard time dodging your WE.
Top Lane - Skirmisher
With the increased sustained damage these items provide, Anjula can fight tanks with relative ease. Auto-resets from Q and titanic hydra can stack up black cleaver's shred relatively fast, and the Armor-ignoring third strike of her Q combined with the execution will help her in 1v1s.
While this post is certainly WIP, any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
