Protect The Queen - Season 9
Hello again everyone! For those of you who remember me from this post, I am the one providing "updates" to this custom game mode, Protect The Queen. It has been over a year, champions were added, mechanics were changed, and feedback was given. Here I am, back at it again with a slightly updated version of Protect The Queen, this time focusing on making it as simple to understand as possible.
This time however, I will actually "patch" this post with updates in an attempt to allow the game to improve over time. Please check back often to stay up to date, or join our discord server!
Protect The Queen is a 4v4/5v5 game played on summoner's rift. The goal is to protect your allied queen from attack while attempting to slay the opposing queen. All players fight and roam in the jungle.
The Rules:
- Both teams have a dedicated Queen. The Queen should be the only female champion on both teams.
- The Queen has a Knight. The Knight takes Smite and must stay by the Queen at all times, unless ordered otherwise.
- The Queen can give orders to her Knight and the rest of her team; they must follow all of them.
- Both teams must stay in the jungle at all times. Players can farm from jungle camps, or they can farm lane minions but only from the river.
- The first team to score 5 takedowns on the enemy Queen wins.
- Players are not allowed to recall.
Additional Information:
- The Knight is the only player on the team allowed to take smite.
- Teleport is not allowed to be used by any player.
- The Queen is not allowed to use Flash; any other players are free to use it.
- Stopwatch, and any items that build out of it, are not allowed to be used by the Queen.
