Can we please bring back honoring opponents?
I have had many interactions with opposing team members that were enjoyable and fun, I would like to be able to honor them in some way like I used to. Maybe 1 honor for my team and one for the opposing?

Papuga6 votesI love this idea, I also miss being able to Honor an opponent. Sometimes the best interactions I have in a game are with an opposing player and I did enjoy being able to give them a little thumbs up. This would also improve getting Honor as well, somethign that everyone can enjoy. :)

I remember when the system was a thing and people would be toxic as hell in team chat, really nice in all chat and get honored even though they didn't deserve it. There were way less cases where I saw the person on my team was legitimately nice and got honors from the opposing team deservedly than the two-faced bs I mentioned before.

No one buys champions in 2018 anyways. Just give us the ability to give actually not shitty opponents an honor, it hurts literally nothing and it is lame we had it taken away.

I cant even get my team to sometimes behave like human beings....

Your view of the other peoplw who play the game is disheartening. I think that we, as players, tend to make villains out of our opponents way too much when instead we could be sharing in our enjoyment of the game. The competitiveness in game is high but the opponents are also people playing the game and doing their best.
Being able to show my appreciation of a particularly enjoyable opponent was a well loved feature which I do miss alot.
Aseraan1 votesYes agree we tend to. but when even the enemy team starts to calling reports on you and start calling you shit there is just nothing left to hold any good intentions towards them. I had games long ago when i pulled of a blind kill on velkoz and the enemy said Wp or nice shot or anything like that, what i get instead : ur trash, noob, reported, hacker etc.
Dont mistake me tho i do sometimes enjoy this kind of appel as well cuz that means they even care, but not always.
About the view of the players im just saying what i see cuz we all know if there is a good decent fella THERE is a sickening dumb pice of metalbucket guy who cant be reasond whit cant work together and all around just biased as fuk. Some days ago i made a comment on a guys thread about stomping games i told him that he thinks its always he gets stomped but he forgets the times when he stomps the enemy or his team does and its probably 50:50 of the times or even he stomps more and i got downvoted.

I still have games where i can work well whit 1 or 2 guy and we make a nice game any the enemy actauly arent a flaming pile of toxic waste either but sadly i see way and way more toxicity than i would like to sometimes i get heated too ye i am biased too FUK yes I AM.
Say what i would like to honor opponents too sometimes tho not these zeds or akalis but sometimes i miss honor opponent too.
Halloween Kitty1 votesPlayers acting in a negative way is no reason not to reward the players on the enemy team that have done well and behaved in a sports-manly way.
Not every single opponent you go up against is going to behave in a negative way and if it really bugs you so much, you can mute 'all chat' in the client options, before you even go into game - and it will stay that way, unless you change it.
It'd be nice to have an option to reward opponents for behaving in the correct way/doing well, like there used to be. You shouldn't be so dismissive of this just because of the bad people you've encountered on the game. There are good people that play the game to, maybe not as many as the bad - but there is no harm in acknowledging the good behaviour and rewarding it. If anything it encourages others to play more sports-manly, so I don't particularly understand why you seem so against this idea.
Honestly your argument seems off-topic and more like just a rant randomly vented onto one of the 'hot' discussions.
It's not an obligation to honour someone. There is an option to skip it if you really find yourself feeling that unimpressed or hateful at the end of the game.
From what you are saying it doesn't sound like you are finding game-play rewarding or fun at all. You seem to be looking at the game with a very negative outlook. Perhaps you should take a break from League as it doesn't seem to be making you very happy. That's just a suggestion, I'm not in anyway trying to be offensive, just to be clear ^^.
Also rank is irrelevant. You find good and bad people in all ranks so I'm not really sure why you even bothered mentioning your rank xD I've been silver, heck I started as bronze and in my experience you can encounter good and bad people in gold and plat to. It doesn't change as you rank up.
League isn't the only game out there. If you are really having that much displeasure with it, I really suggest you try to find something new to immerse yourself in, rather than try to gut the game on their forums. It disrespects those that enjoy and appreciate the game.

I cant rly agree whit most of it cuz i do enjoy the game even now what i dont enjoy is the players sometimes wich should i dont think should be addressed as i am looking at too negative and hence i should not play the game as you suggested Twice in 1 post.
Im not offended (atleast im trying not to be) as saying not 1 but twice that MAYBE i should not play the game if i wont enjoy it while i do enjoy the game but its community i have problems whit sometimes.
And about the muting everyone I as every normal human being likes to communicate THo sometimes i can be a real arsehole i know not perfect getting heated easy is something i do i get it and my posts are not the most positive comments ever either I GET THAT.
But muting everyone at the start of the game or even before the start is someting i dont like to do and would avoid any time. For the simple reasons of if i will honor anyone at the end of the game i want to know what did they say during the game, cuz we all had that post before that asked you "bad player or a good but toxic player" and sure i stand at the second side even i would not honor a toxic player for winning the game and i just dont want to honor players around KDA and other stats around.
Im playing other games as well sure they wont get me tilted as much as leage sometimes. I do skip honoring a lott of the time not because im a chykie bastard and i despited honoring others just doenst feel like it.

From you're first post, to your last, all it has consisted of is complaints about players within the game and any solutions offered up to you, such as muting all chat, have been promptly dismissed because it's something you 'don't like to do'. If you don't like to use the solutions that Riot offer to players having trouble with other players, then you are literally just complaining for the sake of complaining, or attention maybe? I don't know.
What relevance does your post or following posts have to do with implementing an honour system for the opposing team? No one other than you mentioned anything about reports. This discussion has nothing to do with reports.

None. Whatsoever. It's not feedback upon the post at all. It's literally just complaints. Initially I believed there may possibly be some sense of reason with you, however clearly there is not. Your response and they way you are so desperate to complain about everyone else playing the game, only reminds me of the exact kinds of people you are trying to complain about.
Regardless of the points I've made, your comments are irrelevant to this post and unnecessary. You're just going to have to suck it up, whether you like it or not. A game can't exist without it's community. If you have an issue with the community then you will never enjoy the game. You may well say that you do but nothing that you have said thus far has reflected upon that.

So, if you're not against it....what was the point in all of these negative remarks you posted being in this particular topic? There is no point that league or the community has claimed to be 'PERFECT'. Perfect is just an individuals personal ideal. Anyway, again, a response that doesn't even draw upon the topic of this discussion. Kind of negative is an understatement. I do visibly see you trying to be positive, however you are still somehow managing to be negative.
It's perfectly fine that you have you're opinions and that you are clearly passionate about them, however they have nothing to do with this post and are in the wrong place.
I'd have no quarrels with you if your response was on a relevant post. I would even agree with you on some points, but in this discussion they have no place - they just aren't relevant. You have a lot to say though, perhaps you should make your own post about the points you want to bring to light?

Aseraan1 votesBrag? I dont mean to brag i dont even see where is the brag in this? Personal experience enemy team tells me to go fk myself all the time when im doing good for no aperent reason. Team is flaming all the time even i am flaming too cuz i cant stop myself sometimes yes.
Im not braging rly i had recent games where my team had no idea what to do and how werent listening to me so i played my usual solo yi enemy lux started calling reports on me and i was like "wut?". Yes i see where you are comming from whit this brag thing but i am rly wasnt aiming that most of my games i get hard stomped because the enemy team is so fed i cant retaliate or flip the coin and and the enemy gets stomped and its rly getting heated all the time ppl calling reports on anyone whos not 10 2 5.
This is my experience in silver right now ppl just doesnt have fun and when you have fun ppl trying to take that away too.

Xonra2 votesI'd like to bring back being able to honor more than one person as well. I hate having an actual good team and having to go "Well I guess this person was a little better?" like, why are we limiting honor anyways. It is little more than a virtual pat on the back.
Not like I care about these stupid levels that are just arbitrary "I play a ton" badges, or throwing champ capsules at me when I've owned every champion for like 4 years.
Just let me give my teammates an extra little thumbs up and make them feel good for an extra moment.

ZaFishbone1 votesThey can't, since it wasn't built into the new client at it's inception, it would be much harder to change everything too add it now. And considering how many other problems League has right now, I would prefer they work on those, than try too add a difficult feature without any real impact.
Project Xayah1 votesPretty sure it was stated when Honour 2.0 originally got introduced that there were plans to add Opponent Honours, just that Riot wanted to get it up and running with ally-only honours first.
EDIT: Found the most recent Ask Riot statement on the topic, basically saying that they would "revisit honoring your opponent in the future."
