Can we please bring back honoring opponents?
I have had many interactions with opposing team members that were enjoyable and fun, I would like to be able to honor them in some way like I used to. Maybe 1 honor for my team and one for the opposing?

I love this idea, I also miss being able to Honor an opponent. Sometimes the best interactions I have in a game are with an opposing player and I did enjoy being able to give them a little thumbs up. This would also improve getting Honor as well, somethign that everyone can enjoy. :)
My upvote to bring this back. Good sportsmanship extends to more than just our own teammates. It also means honoring our opponents. Spread the love!
Issue is that the system is too easy to exploit. I remember when the system was a thing and people would be toxic as hell in team chat, really nice in all chat and get honored even though they didn't deserve it. There were way less cases where I saw the person on my team was legitimately nice and got honors from the opposing team deservedly than the two-faced bs I mentioned before.

Small indie company, they can't afford to put resources into creating a system to honor the opponent
When i play yi jungle i get soo much sht from the enemy team i dont feel like they would ever honor me for beting their heads in 1 v 5. Same whit supp hard stomping enemy bot whit tresh or velkoz enemy bot says "Ur trash".........
I cant even get my team to sometimes behave like human beings....
Yea we also need an undo honor option. Back in the day honor was a button in the lobby and I would click it for every team member. I honored an afk hecarim one time
on the honor screen it should be changed and have 2 split screens, your team on top and the enemy team on the bottom
this way there isn't another thing you have to click through, you just get 2 honors with the option of skipping one
I'd like to bring back being able to honor more than one person as well. I hate having an actual good team and having to go "Well I guess this person was a little better?" like, why are we limiting honor anyways. It is little more than a virtual pat on the back.
Not like I care about these stupid levels that are just arbitrary "I play a ton" badges, or throwing champ capsules at me when I've owned every champion for like 4 years.
Just let me give my teammates an extra little thumbs up and make them feel good for an extra moment.
YES, bring back honoring opponents I agree. When a guy is playing well and his team feeds and doesn't honor him because they're salty about their LP, let the winners shower him with pats on the back B)
They can't, since it wasn't built into the new client at it's inception, it would be much harder to change everything too add it now. And considering how many other problems League has right now, I would prefer they work on those, than try too add a difficult feature without any real impact.
Pretty sure it was stated when Honour 2.0 originally got introduced that there were plans to add Opponent Honours, just that Riot wanted to get it up and running with ally-only honours first.
EDIT: Found the most recent Ask Riot statement on the topic, basically saying that they would "revisit honoring your opponent in the future."
