Nami's Ult

I've been wanting this for over a week. Every time I play Nami her ult always seems so weak, it does such little damage, has a short range, and can be easily dodged. I don't want her ult to do more damage, the damage it does now isn't a huge problem to me, or to be wider. I would love to see it be global. Maybe even just half way, or something, anything! It annoys me so much, in early game more so typically, when I see my ally at top or even mid struggling and I can't help because I don't have redemption yet or other support items that can reach them. I have my ult up but it can't reach them and it makes me so upset to just watch them die. I would just like to ask if it even is a possibility to make her ult global. If not, explain why and I'll understand. To me though, her ult just seems so useless more then less of the time. I know that it has a great knock-up and speed boost to my team, that's what I love about it. It's just been getting on my nerves lately that her ult isn't global. Having a wave that goes from one side of the map to the other makes a lot of sense to me, personally.

With all due respect, having an aoe knockup and slow (a pretty wide aoe, at that) (and double Nami's passive) be global would be severely overpowered. I can't even wrap my head around that actually being a thing. The length on her ultimate is already generous enough. It's one of the longest non-global ultimates in the game. Not to mention, I can't even imagine how long the cc would last on enemies hit by the wave on the other side of the map, as the knockups and slows are increased as the wave's distance also increases. If it were changed to be like Ashe's arrow where it'd only knockup only one person based on how long the wave traveled and then slowed the rest, I can see that being balanced. Maybe. Otherwise? No, not at all. Not a chance.

Also, despite her decent base damage for a support champion (on her W and ultimate), Nami is not meant to do a lot of damage, as she is a support with healing, speed buffs, and hard/soft cc. If she scaled well with AP or had high base damage, she would be a huge issue as far as balance goes and would be nerfed into oblivion. We'd have to say farewell to our favorite spazzy fish lady.
