Movement Speed: 340 Attack range: 125 Lore: Born in a small village near Piltover, Bronte was an aspiring inventor who dreamed of harnessing the power of the world itself. His fascination with the sky lead to him to study the power of lightning and electrical energy. One day while conducting an experiment, he was struck by lightning and knocked out. When he came to he found his body covered in sparks and excess power flowing off his skin. To his delight he returned home, eager to share his discovery with his friends and colleagues, but when he made contact with one, he discharged a lethal dose of power. The death of a colleague lead to him being exiled from his homeland, so in search of a place where he could properly control his power, he wandered to Piltover. There he met the inventor and Hero he idolized as a child, Jayce, who helped him forge a suit of armor that could control the outbursts of lightning he created. With this newfound control, Jayce recommended him to the League and he happily tests the limits of his gift against the world there.

Build CDR (any amount will do...these abilities have 2-second base cooldowns). Proceed to chain Q-E-Q-E-Q-E-Q-E-Q-E with Trinity Force or Frozen Fist. Win every duel ever with your enormous damage output, .5 second stun on a 1.4-2 second cooldown, inescapable mobility (40% movement speed buff up basically permanently, and a dash + stun on a 1.4-2ish second cooldown), and huge execute damage every 2 seconds.

In short, this kit is horribly, horribly broken. One the train starts it literally never stops until the target is dead. You can't run, only a tiny fraction of characters could hope to fight, and there's nothing else you can do.

Build Bork (low cooldown auto-attack resets) + Trinity Force + Sunfire Cape + CDR tank and win every fight forever.

First things first: you have a higher AD total than Cho'Gath or Skarner, kings of amazing base AD. I'd skip that, especially because you have both an AD steroid and AD scaling ratios. Either make them scale with bonus AD (and lower your AD to closer to Cho'Gath's levels), or really knock that number down a bit.

Now let's take a look at a single one of your abilities: your E.

Firstly, we've got a 2 second cooldown. That's pretty insane. Only a handful of abilities have a cooldown about that low: Evelynn's Hate Spike, Karthus's Lay Waste, Cassiopeia's Twin Fang, Jax's Empower...the list goes on, but you get the basic idea. All of these spells are the character's primary means of dealing damage (even Jax...Empower is one of the main things what allows him to keep his damage high on such a regular basis even when building tanky).

Ours doesn't just deal damage though. Firstly, it's an amazing attack steroid, since it scales off of base AD instead of bonus AD, and has one of the highest base damage bonus values for an auto-attack reset. That alone makes it exceptionally strong on a 4 second cooldown, not to mention a 2 second cooldown.

That's not all though. It's also a dash, also a pretty major slow, also an armor shred and (once we get a bit of CDR and our Ultimate) also a way to get a permanent 40 movement speed and 40% attack speed.

Verdict? This skill is overloaded.

That one is your biggest offender. But your Q is also seriously overpowered. We have another 2 second cooldown auto-attack refresh, with this one dealing even more damage than the first, which is already really strong. For reference, your level 2 E + Q combo will deal about 315 physical damage from those abilities alone, not counting the slow or the armor shred. On an 8 second cooldown for the combo. A more realistic level 2 engage of E - Q - auto - dashing with E to chase (due to the low cooldown) will deal about 520 physical damage. And yes, that's before I calculate the additional execute damage.

There's no fighting this guy. His base numbers are way to high, and his scaling is base-AD based, making him an unstoppable duelist in the early game (also in the late game).

Your W isn't actually that strong, but the Grievous Wounds effect does mean that a lot of the characters who might be able to stand toe-to-toe with you (and there might only be about three would could try) suddenly can't.

OVERALL SUGGESTIONS

Decide what you want this guy to be, and then sit down and logically parse through what he's capable of. Did you want a character resetting his auto-attacks twice within a 2 second window, carrying around a repeatable 75% slow and repeatable 30% armor shred (that probably lasts for longer than the ability cooldown), a constant execute with execute damage three times higher than Lee Sin's execute Q (which is on a much longer cooldown), and rocking a 2 second dash as well as a permanent 40% attack speed buff and a +40 movement speed buff?

'cause that's what you've got now. You need to decide how you envision this character being played, as well as what his unique strengths and unique weaknesses are, and then go back to the drawing board and start stripping power away from...well, everything that's not his W, honestly.

There's currently too much going on for me to even really begin to pare down. Let me know what you consider intrinsically important to his kit and concept, and we can begin to focus him around those strengths.

Just for fun, I've calculated out a...say, 5-second combo with this character and the following item build: Blade of the Ruined King, Black Cleaver, Trinity Force, Merc Treads, Randuin's Omen, Frozen Heart

We'll say I'm running enough cooldown runes and masteries to max out (at +10%). I'll ignore AD runes or any offense masteries aside from that...so know that this number would actually be a bit higher.

We've got 132 base AD at level 18, up to 257 with the suggested build. This means our Q deals 404 bonus damage on a 1.2 second cooldown, and our E deals 203 bonus damage on a 1.2 second cooldown. Trinity Force adds 264 damage every second ability use at this rate. Our attack speed is...terrible, because you seem to have messed up the number.

Attack speed range is about .55-.65. You have .05, which would mean about one attack every 20 seconds. I'm going to assume this was supposed to be .56 rather than .056.

Anyway, it eventually evens out to about .98 with the items suggested, which we'll call one attack per second.

We can use each ability 4 times if we're fast on the trigger...but we'll go easy and say we'll only E three times. The Q we can rapid-fire like nobody's business. Since each of these are auto-attack resets (like nearly all "on next hit" abilities), each one will proc the bonus effect. Trinity Force will proc 3 times during this time, and we'll probably get about 2 normal attacks off in the combo (although it's actually hard to judge with this much button-pressing).

That would be about 5330 damage, or 1000 damage per second. And I've got a few tank items. And I haven't been counting execution damage, or the power of my high Armor Shred, or Blade of the Ruined King's current health shred. Nor have I used the Ultimate, nor have I used your W.

These numbers may be a little off, but 1000 DPS coming from a bruiser at a sustained rate is obscene.

You need to seriously rework and nerf much of this kit

Now, I agree with all of these things, but we really need to consider what would change to make him balanced? As was said before, his base ad is higher than both Cho'Gath's and Skarner's base, which makes for an already scary top lane, but the main thing here is the cooldowns. The average cooldown of a dash that I've figured in this game at its lowest level is around an estimated 10 seconds, and yours is at 2 WITH a slow on it. That in and of itself is very broken, plus the scaling on it is pretty massive as well, especially since it's an auto attack reset along with his q. The damage ratio on it is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery high, which could lead to a lot of people building straight tank and an atma's and still shredding more than a vayne with a item 3153 Overall, I think I would just say that the main thing is the cooldown, and maybe lower the scaling on his e to 40/45/50/55/60. With that ratio, it would hugely nerf his damage output, but at least give the enemy a chance to react considering the fact that he has a dash that slows AND shreds armor. If I were to say anything else, than maybe nerf the armor shred spark bonus. The slow in and of itself is a large mechanic that opponents have to work to get around, but bonus armor shred is just plain unnecessary. Final verdict on a cooldown in my opinion would be a solid ten seconds with 40% cdr. It's just combining the fact that his dash is also a damage and a slow with armor shred, it needs to be more of a tactical engage or a one time chase mechanic so that it doesn't make his sticking power as heavy as it was before. I think I'll post about the q in a bit, but for now, those are my thoughts on his Thunder Rush. With a ton of balancing, the champ could definitely have potential, just need to scale him down a fair number of times, considering everything about him is monstrous in power right now.

I'll keep a tab on changes here

  • Changes So far Have Been Stun turned to slow. (slows for 50% now)

  • Passive Now Is A 3 second Cool down and can only be applied to a single target Champion. Also Passive wont proc on same champ for 4 seconds

  • Removed Part of ult active that lowers cooldown

  • Removed Ult passive that gave movement speed

  • Also changed attack speed to .56

  • His ENTIRE kit has been reworked and will now be less broken we good?
