If I have all champions and 30k+ IP, don't give me champion shards.

Seriously, Riot? I am really in to the whole hextech chest-crafting-thing since there is no requirement to pay for it, and it doesn't become pay to win since it doesn't really affect the gameplay. However, I don't really see the point of me (as an experienced summoner with all champions, all relevant runes and lots of IP to spare for upcoming champions) getting champion shards. I mean, it would be fine if there were literally ANY other use of the champion shards other than turning them in to other champions or in to blue essence (ergo; used to get champions). Now, the thing is, since you can actually BUY your way inside of these crates, I'd expect an actual REWARD. It shouldn't even be possible for me to recieve champion shards since there is LITERALLY NOTHING I can do with those. I mean, it's hard enough work as it is to even GET a chest and three key shards, and then having enough essence to convert your shard to the real deal.

I get the whole concept of this and I think it has great potential. However I think it's pretty respectless towards those who have been around for years and gets literally nothing out of it, it's almost like a punishment for having too many champions.

At least you could make it possible to get orange essence out of champion shards, even if it's just a small amount it would mean there could be SOME use of them.
