#1. Appearance This should help give you an image of what Task looks like while reading about him. I also have some images at the bottom for reference.

Age: 25-30 Facial Features: Handsome and masculine, much like Yasuo or Jayce . Hair: Short, and dark brown, not too stylish. I imagine him wearing a hood, but not for all possible skins. Eyes: Hazel with a bit more yellow.(not that anyone really sees eyes in the game) Physique: Athletic, but not bulky. Height: 6'0 Weapon: Scythe with a spear tip. Apparel: Medium(both leather and metal) armor with a hood, like an armored rogue. Rugged colors, like brown, black with a bit of gold.

#2. Lore Heres some music to listen to while you read about Task. I feel it fits his theme very well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eONYrDA0B-I

Task was an infant living in Demacia, who was orphaned by the death of his parents who died fighting against Noxian invaders. A farmer named Henry and his wife, Jaina, who were good friends with Task's parents, took care of the him while they were away fighting, but when Henry and Jaina found out that they had died, they decided to take care of Task as their own child. Task grew up working as a young farmer with Henry, and he loved every moment of it. Both Henry, and Jaina had raised Task to be respectful, and to never take things for granted.

When Task was a young adult, Henry and Jaina had decided to tell him the truth about his real parents. They had told him that their names were Lora and Daren, and they were proud Demacian soldiers who died fighting to protect their loved ones. They said that they had loved him more than anything else, and that they would have done anything they could for their child. Overwhelmed, Task did not believe them, and had always thought that Henry and Jaina were his birth parents. Eventually Task had accepted the truth, even though he did not want to. Since then, he had thoughts about joining the Demacian military to become a soldier like his parents, but he feared he would just end up dead.

One day while harvesting crops, a group of Noxian bandits had raided the farm. Armed with nothing but a farming scythe, Task tried to defend the farm from the attackers. Moments later the bandits had retreated after setting the crops on fire and looting what they could. Task quickly went looking for Henry and Jaina to see if they were alright, however they were killed while trying to defend themselves. Task had never been more scared in his life, that in fact, he has never feared anything else ever since.

In his early 20's, Task had finally decided to join the Demacian military and although he doesn't believe in war, justice, or honor, he is determined to avenge his loved ones' deaths. In respect of Henry, Jaina, and the farm, Task's choice of weapon was always a scythe, while unpractical, he was a prodigy at using one in a fight. Task quickly became known for his determination, fearlessness, and hate for Noxians. Although Task understands that Demacians fight for justice and honor, deep down, he wants to hunt down and kill every last Noxian.

After just a few years of serving as a Demacian soldier, Task was renowned as one of Demacia's Elite. He is always taking his duties seriously, and hardly ever relaxes. Even in his own home, he is constantly training to get stronger, and mastering his abilities with a scythe. He is often assigned with a list of various mid-high ranking enemies to assassinate. Even if he doesn't successfully kill his target the first time, he never gives up a pursuit until the job is done.

#3. Personality

Task is a fearless fighter who wants revenge for his loved ones' deaths. He is usually very respectful, and kindhearted towards his allies, and despite his dark past, he is quite calm because Henry and Jaina raised him better than to let his emotions get the best of him. but he has a hard time letting go of his past and often shows no remorse when fighting his enemies, especially against a Noxian. At home, he is frequently shunned by others for his lack of honor. Some say he is not worthy of being a Demacian, but no one can deny he is a strong warrior, and he will not stop fighting until every last Noxian is dealt with.

#5. Abilities I did not make these skill Icons, I found them via google and cropped them

http://i.imgur.com/bgQGejk.png[/img] Passive: On pursuit cooldown: 20 Damaging an enemy champion marks them for 5 seconds. While marked, Task's abilities against that target have extra effects. Task gains 15% movement speed while moving towards his marked target. Task can only mark 1 target at at time, and can continuously mark that target, but cannot mark a new target for a duration after the previous mark expires.

http://i.imgur.com/r9z5KzE.png[/img] Q: Determined Strike Range: 150 Radius: 160 Cooldown: 14 Task instantly slashes his scythe in a small cone in the direction of the cursor, dealing 100/110/120/130/140 (+ 50% bonus AD) physical damage to all enemies in front of him. On a marked target: can attack up to 2 extra times within 5 seconds after hitting a marked target before triggering the cooldown.

http://i.imgur.com/0gy08NJ.png[/img] W: Crippling Slash Leap Distance: 500 Attack Range: 150 Radius: 170 Cooldown: 12 Task leaps forward and slashes in a cone at his enemy's legs, dealing 100/115/130/145/160 (+ 90% bonus AD) physical damage to all enemies hit and slowing them by 15% for 2 seconds Task can leap over walls. On a marked target: They are also crippled for 3 seconds, disabling any mobile abilities except for flash, blinks, and teleports.

http://i.imgur.com/29XDPXe.png[/img] E: Weakening Spike Range: 175 Cooldown: 13 Task's next basic attack quickly thrusts his scythe's spear tip into an enemies weak spot, dealing 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 / 210 (+ 80% AD) physical damage and stunning them for 1.5 seconds. On a marked target: Applies Grievous Wounds for 4 seconds.

http://i.imgur.com/ULD67lb.png[/img] R, Ultimate: Fearless Execution Range: 400 Cooldown: 130/110/90 Task channels an attack for 0.5 seconds, granting him CC immunity, then dashes forward slightly, hooking his scythe violently into the first enemy champion hit, suppressing himself and his target for 2 seconds dealing 50(+ 15% bonus AD) physical damage every 0.5 seconds, and an additional 5/10/15% of his target's maximum health as true damage at the end of the ability. While suppressed, Task is vulnerable to hard CC, which can interrupt him, and his target cannot be affected by other sources of damage, but can be healed by their allies. Task can cancel the ability at any time, reducing the overall damage, and triggering the cooldown. On a marked target: killing them refreshes all cooldowns.

#6. Core Items

#7. Playstyle

Primary Role: Fighter Secondary Role: Assassin Task is a physical bruiser who excels at close-ranged combat. Task's overall kit is designed to chase and lockdown specific targets while dealing heavy damage to them. Task's role will most likely be a fighter, mixing in both damage, and resistance. Task probably fits best in the top lane because he is too short ranged to fight against mid lane and his kit is better when fighting against single targets. Task might also be able to jungle as he has great lockdown, and can probably pull off some awesome ganks in the early-mid game. Being such a close ranged fighter makes Task vulnerable in team fights, so building him a little tanky is a must for team fights. Task could also pass up as an Assassin for his secondary role, as he offers high single target damage, and his kit relies on chasing down a single target at a time. Of course building him tanky is the safer route, but if you really think you can land some early kills, building him like a burst assassin isn't a bad option.

The one thing that makes Task unique compared to other champions, is his aggressive, risk for reward playstyle. For example, while his ultimate is capable of dealing massive amounts of damage, you are stationary while using it, and can be killed while using it. If you don't pull the entire thing off, you will lose a lot of damage output, but if you do, you are more than likely to score a kill, so long as you used it on someone with low enough health. Another example is that Task is meant to pursue a single target. His passive marks a single target, making his abilities more efficient to that one target, but they are only mediocre against targets who are not marked, so being outnumbered makes Task very vulnerable.

#8. Pros and Cons

Pros: +High single target damage +Lockdown +Chase +Kill secure +No resource

Cons: -High cooldown -Very close range -Can be easily targeted in team fights.

I actually love how in-depth this is. All his stats seem really well balanced, although you may want to up his AD a bit. Most tanks start at about 60 AD, and by level 18 they have 120+ base AD.

On to his skills. His ultimate is a bit tricky. 5 seconds against a lone wolf is nothing, but in a teamfight Task will die every time. Maybe you can add a line in there that says "The channel time is lowered by 1 second for every nearby enemy champion". To balance out the damage, "Determined Assualt also deals 20 bonus damage per .5 seconds for every nearby enemy champion".

This way, in team fights the ult becomes viable, but does a bit less damage.

You also might want to consider buffing the range of all his abilities. Marksman, mages and just about any champion with some sort of CC or blink ability will have no trouble getting away from Task.

Other than that, all of these abilities are really balanced. Keep up the good work!

My biggest issue with this champion is that he really doesn't do anything that pretty much all other fighters do as well. The only exception might be his ultimate, but that thing is problematic on it's own. A 5 second cc that can only be interrupted through death is crazy amounts of broken, no matter how you put it. Build him full tank, and you can single handedly completely lock someone out of a teamfight with nothing they can do about it.

Even if they can't be attacked by others for the duration, how does that make sense thematically? Task doesn't seem to have any magic or anything.

I personally also have a huge, and I mean huge issue with champions that are completely resourceless and think they need some very major tradeoffs in order for it to be completely fair. What was your thought process behind making him resourceless?

The scythe part of the weapon sounds pretty out of place for the kit especially looking at his E, and you can do the same thing with his Q and W with lets say a halberd which actually has a spike at the end. (but honestly I didn't pay much attention to Lore and other aesthetics of the champ because I like numbers)

Now lets talk spells. My only question about the Passive is how it would determine which target is marked if you hit with Q or W. The closest target was my first guess.

I actually have no issue with the Q.

The W needs something, I'd say have the slow be 30%, scrap the mobile disabling part and just have it increase the slow for the marked target.

The E, I would also scrap the Grievous Wounds on the marked target and replace it with the stun, because assassins with a heal cut is no fun.

Alright, the Ultimate, All cooldowns refreshed? No, very bad idea. we don't want another Darius. I would also take away the part where your teammates cannot attack the target. The Damage over Time damage should be tweaked, thinking around 120+100% of Total AD over 2 seconds sounds a bit better. Also the execute, Perhaps the last hit does a flat amount of true damage lets say.. 100 - 150 - 200, and if the target is marked beforehand it adds the % max health true damage.

Honestly these are obviously just opinions of mine, You seemed to put a lot of love into this concept so I wanted to give you at least half decent feedback on his abilities.
