Nexus Blitz - Map Suggestion

With no doubt Nexus Blitz is one of the most freshing features we got in Season 8. First, the core gameplay and the idea overall is super fun and I'm glad Riot are trying something new. However, I believe there can be a huge improvement.

I know that the game mode is still in alpha stages and that many things can still change, and yet I wanted to share an idea :) I see this gamemode as an opportunity to bring the lore into the game. Same as our beloved (or not) ARAM map, the Howling Abyss, which features a freljord area - I belive Nexus blitz can occur in some other place in Runeterra!

Imagine how cool it was to play Nexus blitz in a** Zaun **map, or a Demacian area. Right now the map looks like a minimized SR (and again, I know this is alpha stages).

Hope you liked this idea - and as we all know Riot they can go wild when it comes to art so I hope we will get something cool :) Obviously, feel free to share your ideas as well!

I've seen a bunch of people make a convincing argument for a Zuan map for Nexus Blitz. I'm just going to paraphrase it for the sake of people who may not have seen it. The jungle monsters could be mechanical (which explains why Ivern has to fight them instead of freeing them). The old and discontinued items could be connected to Zuan's black market hex-tech and chem-tech contraband. The central river could be a sludge stream coming from a sewer pipe. Many of the events and rewards could be easily connected to Zuan (the giant nexus robots in the sudden-death event, the Blitzcrank pulls reward, the push-the-cart event, etc.). The different sides could represent different Zuanite gangs or chem-barons, fighting over toxic resources. The king-of-the-hill event could be a battle over some hex-tech salvage. The bardle royale event could be the Zuan Gray closing in with a ring of toxic Sump gas. The snowball fight event might be a little harder to find a Zuan theme that would fit. I feel like Riot could make an awesome mechanical or sludgy mini-boss to take the place of the central Rift Herald. People are throwing around lots of awesome ideas, I hope Riot is taking notes. Zuan would make for a new and interactive setting for the new mode.
