So basically after watching the 1v1 tournament in all stars each year i have been wondering why riot hasn't released a 1v1 option in customs or as a separate game mode all together. They have it programmed for all stars already, it would be nice to just have that option as a rule set for customs on the live server.
I really like this idea, especially with the advent of For Honor and its 1v1 mode. It is quite popular in that game and I feel as if it would have a place in League of Legends, even if it is only for Silver 500k Yasuos (who deserve Diamond of course) to prove their mettle to some n00b who caused them to go 2/16 in their promos. In all seriousness, however, I like this idea and would definitely play it often.
There was a 1v1 and 2v2 game mode once, but it was pretty unpopular among the community. Mostly due to most people playing zed/lee that would kill really early or someone like Caitlyn that could farm up to 100 cs super safely and win that way.
