Alternative punishments for afkers

I was just thinking that probably as a minor punishment afkers shouldn't get low priority queues (which into my opinion are not a very efficient punishment because they may increase everyone's queue time because of a couple of reasons like the concrete possibility that one may fail to accept the ready check after 20+ minutes and also is a kinda silly punishment because people will just do other things in the meantime) they could instead get autofilled for the next 10/20 games, in this way the average queue time (which is still really long) will be reduced (and we would all benefit from that), and they will still be punished because they will have to play in roles that they may not be totally comfortable with. Obviously if they persist the punishment should be higher than that, like a ban, but I don't really think that low priority queue is a good punishment in general for afkers. Just an idea, let me know in case.

As much as I respect where your idea is coming from, I don't think it will work, here's why.

1). Increasing the amount of autofill will hurt, not help, a lot of games. This is because of people who will do things like troll when they get filled into support or just refuse to play the game properly in any way. I've had plenty of games where an autofilled player (keep in mind that I main support so theyre NOT getting filled to support in this situation) will feed because they dont know the role (yikes) or INT because they didn't get on of the roles they wanted. I've especially seen this when I play against teams with an autofilled support who doesnt know what theyre doing as well. Autofill should be last resort for keeping queue times down.

2). Some people who get leaverbuster dont even play normal games to get rid of it. I have someone on my firends list who is basically career AFK/Dodger he will afk/dodge whenever he doesn't want to play a certain matchup or hates something about the match. When he gets leaverbuster (which is often) he will just grind them out by queuing up for bots games, because the games are short and they can effectively reduce the punishment.

3). This is the smallest category, but still. This could seriously harm players who have either bad internet or something along those lines, and already have to deal with leaverbuster due to technical issues. I used to have a really bad computer and internet, and while ive upgraded since then, I still feel for those who have to deal with such issues.
