Pondering Possible Tweeks to Morgana's Tormented soil.

As being a Morgana main, since I started League, I have a few thoughts on what Riot should do with her W.

I feel that her W needs more utility.

Option 1: Make her W apply grievous wounds to champs below a certain Health%. They talked about doing this before. (With this option keeping current cdr upon passive procs.) Riot mentioned this as a possibility before, though it never saw PBE testing.

Option 2: Increase incoming cc to all enemy champs standing on her W by a certain %. This would play more into the tormented soil theme. Actually having the ground feeling cursed. If this is taken, I feel like her Q should be nerfed to root for less time than current without the W, and longer duration than current upon hitting a champ effected by tormenting Soil. Would allow her to better support high cc teams. (This option would most likely require decoupling the current passive synergy.)

Option 3: Have tormented soil apply a grounded effect much like Cassiopeia's Miasma. I feel her Q is already reasonably easy to dodge and this would raise the hit% without making it guaranteed. If a drawback need be applied, option 2 may work well with this. Though if having both, only increasing Dark Binding duration not all cc. With those dark binding nerfs. (This option I feel may be able to keep the current passive synergy without being broken.)

These are just my opinions. Not speculation on what Riot currently has in store. Would love to hear some from others.

This all being said, I am so excited to see what Riot does with Morg in the upcoming rework. As they said they may make changes to her Tormented Soil. I'm hoping for the best with her. I'm already pleased with the clues that point towards Targonian aspects. Could totally see the aspect of Justice and the aspect of Binding.

This maybe wayyyy off the mark, but i think tormented soil would just become her passive or at least a passive-like ability. Imagine it automatically appears underneath effected champions, like those who got hit by her q and ult or spread by whoever her shield is on. Her w then becomes something else entirely.

I actually think the grounded effect would be a nice one to have. I want to see more champions have that, and she'd be a good one for it.

Whatever, it's going to suck no matter what they do.
