Champs who Need Buffs
Hey guys, here's a list of champions I believe need an update or a rework:
-Ryze- Ryze's ultimate, which is basically a group tf ult, is basically useless prior to level 11 because its range is way too short. Also, ryze's sustained dps may be good later but he gets bullied way too hard in lane and takes way too long to hit his power spike.
-Lux- Lux's kit is not bad, but their are other champs that do the same thing but better (i.e. ziggs,). A cool change would be for her shield to give movespeed on cast. This would open up plays for kiting, chasing, and make her more unique.
-Ezreal- I am a huge ezreal fan. He is one of my favorite adcs, and I love his mobility and outplay potential. However, he does have a few issues. Against the meta, ezreal is weak early b.c. he has to invest in a tear of the goddess asap, while other adcs go for damaging items. Also, ezreal works like an ad caster because he spams his q (mystic shot) for poke dmg. However, his w (essence flux) has an all ap ratio, making w his most useless skill. Granted it is good for procing sheen, and the attack speed buff is good for getting towers. But, come onnnnnnn it would be awesome if it had an ad ratio.
-Kennen- Kennen is great in team fights, his role is very similar to katarina. My issues with him are that even when he's fed he can't 1v1 anyone, and you can't play him the way you'd like to play him. With Kennen you are encouraged to auto attack in order to apply his w, electrical surge's passive, but electrical surge itself takes 5 autos just to ramp up for extra ap damage. This is just too slow outside of laning. Sure in lane you may be able to attack minons and save your w passive to harrass. But, outside of lane his passive on the w is way too slow b.c. 1v1 you'd probably be dead before he got to 5 auto attacks. For that reason I feel that the w passive should be changed to every 3 auto attacks, or maybe he should naturally have extra ap damage on his autos like diana, teemo, and orianna. He feels like a champion that should have a buffed auto attack or maybe build a nashors tooth, but you can't afford to play him that way.
-Taum Kench- I view Taum Kench as a top laner with some cool cc but isn't really cut out for top lane who's consequently subjugated to the support role. Taum Kench has some damage with his q (tongue lash) and his passive, but he can't really do too well in the top lane b.c. he lacks 1v1 potential and his ult (abyssal voyage) is only useful with another player. Other than his w (devour) that can consume an enemy champ or save a teammate from danger he lacks other supporty attributes. In lane Taum Kench lacks hard engage. As a result, he really struggles to reach the other adc in order to get his passive stacks on them, and likewise cannot really punish the enemy support unless they are melee. Taum Kench is extremely situational. I feel playing kench in lane you want to be able to engage and spoon feed your adc kills, but he really struggles in that area. He is moreover, made to play as an an anti-engage/ all in champion, meaning he is good against bot lanes that want to all in you b.c. you can most likely win an all in, and he is good at peeling for champions.
