Halyent The Spellblade Abilities

  • Passive: A Blade's Thirst Halyent gains 2/4/6 Mana permanently when he kills an enemy minion, double for large monster kills and champion kills. He also restores 6%/7%/8% of his missing mana when he hits an enemy champion with one of his spells (5/4/3 second cooldown).

  • Q: Arcane Blink CD:12/11/10/9/8 Cost:70/75/80/85/90 Halyent blasts a spear of arcane magic forward, slowing the first target hit for 20% for 2 seconds and dealing 25/50/75/100/125 (+30% bonus AD +70% AP) magic damage. If it hits, he can blink to the target within 3 seconds stunning it for .75/1/1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds.

  • W: Blade Flurry CD:7/6/5/4/3 Cost:38/42/46/50/54 Halyent spins his sword around, dealing 30/45/60/75/110 physical damage (+60% bonus AD + 50% AP) to all enemies around him. He will also gain a shield equal to 5% of his maximum mana per champion hit (shield has a 8 second cooldown).

  • E: Archon CD: No Cooldown Cost: No cost Halyent toggles between his longsword and Archon. Archon will make Halyent's auto attacks deal extra magic damage equal to 2/3/4/5/6% of his maximum mana but will drain mana equal to a third consumed. When Last Chance is active, this ability will not consume mana.

  • R: Last Chance/Sunder CD:140/120/90 Cost:150/150/100 Halyent wields both swords at once, attacking twice every auto attack for 15 seconds. During this time every second attack will only deal 40% damage (does proc on hit effects but not the damage from his E (or Sated Devourer)) Halyent can reactivate his ultimate to dash forward, swinging his blades dealing 150/250/350 (+80% AP +8/12/16% maximum mana) damage (half magic half physical) to anyone he hits. ------NOTES-------- heres some notes i made on the abilities, I tried to give ranges to give a grasp of the abilities skillshots. Arcane Blink is supposed to function similar to lee sin's Q, but is fairly shorter with a 950 range. I didn't want to give him too much CC so i kept it as a small time. Blade Flurry is supposed to be a fast spin around Halyent, hitting everything in a 300 range around him. I think it could be useful for both AD and AP and could be somewhat spamable later around mid-game. Archon is crucial for AD play in my opinion, as Halyent, building a item 3004 Manamune and attack speed could make some damage (hopefully not TOO much) Last Stand would be the burst move for AD Halyent, it would make him use two weapons at once, hence the double attack speed, but do less damage with every other auto. I think that it could easily be overpowered, but I tried my best at making it atleast look balanced. Sunder would be a dash forward with a range of about a 1000 (think Shyvana Shyvana or Hecarim Hecarim Ult range). It was there for the AP burst since Last Stand wouldn't help an AP mage build very much. At the same time I tried to make it useful for AD as well using the max Mana ratio. I also tried to keep the AP ratio a bit lower so it wouldnt get too bursty with the combo of the AP ratio and mana ratio. Itemization could be confusing at times but the #1 core items would be item 3070 Tear of the Goddess into either item 3003 Archangels Staff or item 3004 Manamune

  • Lore For most of his life, Halyent had studied and trained to become a great mage. Though he was dedicated to his studies, his curiousity for the unknown would get the best of him. He signed onto an expedition to the Shadow Isles and strayed from the group during the night to explore on his own. He came to find a huge hidden vault filled with ancient artifacts from times lost. As Halyent looked in, he was amazed at the amount of magical power in the room. While there were many powerful artifacts in this hidden vault, Halyent felt drawn to an ancient sword. He decided to take the sword with him out of the vault and returned to camp, sneaking the sword into his tent. That night he heard a voice telling him that the blade, Archon, would consume him if it is not sated with magic, though Halyent had thought it had only been a nightmare, when he awoke he found his companions in the expedition dead, drained of their essence. Fearing for his life, Halyent took the blade and began to wander around Valoran, trying to find a way to either satisfy the sword's hunger for magic or until he can find a way to destroy the evil inside it. Friends: Yasuo Yasuo, Taric Taric, Sona Sona Enemies: Thresh Thresh, Xerath Xerath, Ryze Ryze

Hmm the passive name would make more since if instead of "hunger" it should be "thirst" hunger would be more for HP than mana
