New item concept (Altered reverse DFG

What if there was an item that would like, convert damage types, I was thinking about this, and hear me out. What if the item would take 75% of magic damage take it, and convert it to physical damage, and it would also take 25% of physical damage taken, and convert it into magic damage (less of a conversion because of why this item would be used, I'll get to the situations it would be used in later). These would be part of a very short active, maybe only lasting 1.5-2 seconds of damage conversion, the damage conversion would apply to all types of damage (single target, AOE, DoT, Al's, etc), and the damage conversion could only be used every once in a while, like a 120 second CD or something. For stats, give it an even amount of armour and MR. Now for its situations, say you were against a team comp that's heavily AP or AD (like, 4/5-all 5 of them are AP/AD), the damage conversion from magic to physical would be great because armour items MOST OF THE TIME give you a larger bonus than MR items, so you wouldn't get bursted by one person for trying to build defensively again majority of the enemy team (Ex. Building mostly MR against a team comp that's something along the lines of a Vladimir top, Elise jg, Fizz mid, Blitz supp; but still getting shredded by their ADC, whichever ADC they have). In this case, any engage an ADC would try to do to you would be negated by ALOT. I kept the magic to physical damage conversion at 25% because if it was 75%, and it was exactly like the situation above, you could eat everything from 5 people, and walk away more fabulous than Taric. Now for a reverse situation, a mostly AD team with one AP (something like a Fiora top, pantheon jg, Syndra mid, any ADC, and Braum supp.) You could be building armour and taking tickle damage from most of the enemies team, but the Syndra could be shredding you faster than a fat kid falling off of a skateboard.., being towed.., on a highway. Point is, I chose Syndra for this example because her kit is based on using all of her abilities in a short time frame to ruin someone's day, she's an easy burst mage to use in this example. So a Syndra catches you off guard, and instead of what would usually happen; she shit bursts you, you would be able to use the active of the item just as she's using her burst combo, and your armour would eat most of the damage, giving you a chance to retaliate and have a slight bit of counterplay. (I'm hoping you can see why I'm putting a higher conversion % for magic to physical) Basically the item would be like a altered QSS with the addition of an altered reverse DFG. Most likely an item for close-up tanks and bruisers with a gap closer. Champions like Pantheon, Jayce, Lee Sin, Leona, (even Yasuo could get some cheese strat shit from it), etc, would heavily benefit from something like this, if it were to exist.

You know, typing things gives you this wonderful opportunity to go back and edit what you've typed - you can actually make what you write coherent and thoughtful-sounding instead of vomiting sentences all over the place.

As for the item.. what if it was just an armor item that had an active that made it instead give some amount of magic resist for a short duration? doesn't need to be so complicated.
