I have been thinking of a cool idea for the dragons once they died. This idea would make the dragons fly onto perches (strictly cosmetic) at the spawn point. Now if this idea does not sound good to you I think that a alternative would be just the illuminated marks of the dragons along the wall or something along those lines.

I konw that summoners rift is handpainted so I dont know if they could still do something like this but i dont know much about game desighn lol but this is a actually a really cool idea and id love to see it happen, i like the illuminated mark idea the best by the way thats the one im referring to (: [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

TheOperatorsBox2 votesNot really, but almost every single pixel was handplaced, and there are no matching textures copied across terrains on SR, which is why there hasn't been a map skin in a while

TheOperatorsBox1 votesYes, a pixel is very very small. To make a new map, there would need to be an immense amount of work and effort put into it. You could put pixels over it, but it would not be up to Riot's quality standards. Take how old SR looked like compared to the new one, or old TT to new TT. There would essentially need to be a complete overhaul of the map. Not only that, the particles need to be up to par with classic SR in terms of visibility. All in all, it is not worth to make a new map skin with tons of time and effort placed into it in order to have a novelty for only a few days.
Knight Sky1 votesIt was handpainted on a computer yes, TheOperators Box put the specifics, this is also why they cant make a snow summoners rift. Essentialy theyd have to recreate the map which would take forever
