what the hell is with these passes

Riot I don't know why you thought it would be a good idea to release passes for one know I feel like I'm missing out on content that you guys promised this would stay a free to play game I've been playing league know for 7 to 8 years and this is the worst idea yet not only does it constantly show me how many coins I'm missing out on but the rewards that the lunar objectives give you is 1000 blues essence which at this point is useless to me make it so I can buy the pass with blue essence at least you put a pay wall and said you cant enjoy the event to the full existent with out giving you real money and ive spent plenty of real cash on the game over the years but I really don't know why I play with all the trolls know it really isn't fun and each match is very stressfull if a player is either gone or just sits in fountain for 2 mins and is know behind in cs and kills and exp at that point there just a cash out for the other team just some thought riot maybe you should think about your old time vets that have been with your from the start. man I remember when you took cloth armor and 5 health pots and you fought wraiths instead of raptors. it really just feels like you guys have just forgotten about us and really only aspire to get new fans these days.

First off, try to use white space for your long post. Helps a lot to read.

Second, I am also an older player, BE is worthless, but the Blue essence events. Allow me to get Chromas for free. which is definitely a reason for me to still get it. Would be nice for people with all champions to get some OE everyone once in a while though.

As for passes, of course we have teh generic response.... "You don't have to buy them." I'd like to however, show you as I see them and maybe see if you get why I think they are a great deal actually.

Passes are claimed to be money grabs of no value and stupid to purchase. This statement is false, but potentially true at times. If a player plays enough they can buy multiple items on the loot screen (which value varies), the biggest value comes from the orbs though. For instance every single pass I purchase obtained me 1 legendary skin at least and multiple epic skins. (GK Garen, Pulse fire Cait and EZ) The Lunar pass has given me, Gentleman Cho, Dragonslayer Braum, SG Soraka, HH Akali, and some bad ones lol. (That Gragas fan thing made me want to cry.)

While that is potentially an accurate statement, getting 4/5 of any skins makes the pass worth it. 4*750 = 2900 twice the value of the pass. 400 tokens is easy to get (10 a day) So in reality the consumer gets more out of it. One could argue that Riot would have never sold those skins to you in the first place, but that was the risk you wanted to take. With one legendary skin I feel its valuable as I want all of them at some point.

While again this could make it valueless I'll use the example of burgers. If I have 20$ and grab a bag full of burgers, one may have 5 McDonalds burgers, another 5 Five guys burgers, and another with 5 Wendy's burgers. No matter which one you grab you will always get your value some are just worth much more. If you don't "play" or eat the burger that's on you not the one that provided it to you. You wont get a refund from Wendy's a month later for bringing them burgers you didn't eat.

ok then ill compromise they keep there bags and I wont complain about them but then make it so I can turn off the claim reward amount in my objective I don't like know that I have 556 coins that I'm not allowed to spend though your telling me I earned that many that's where my problem lies really I just don't want to know really because that's what 3 more lunar orbs I could of gotten not only that but so far I haven't been able to get any more coins as a reward for objectives only getting blue essence. so in the end just let me turn it off then it makes me feel as if I'm missing out on the game.
