This is my concept of a poking mid laner, that has a unique way of auto attacking as it is done from the back.

Venema - The Queen of the Colony

Passive : Colonial Expansion

A soldier bee is created every third spell, and up to three bees can be present at once. Bees have 150/250/350 (+12%AP), 20/35/50 attack damage, 20/30/40 armour and magic resist and 350 base movement speed. (1,6,11) Bees automatically switches to attack the enemy Venema is currently attacking

Q - Poison Sting

Deals 85/120/155/180/215 (+35%AP) that applies a stack of venom. Attacks from the back. Cooldown is refreshed if the target is killed. 50 mana 3 second cooldown

W - Venomous Infection (Passive)

Applies stacks of venom that deals 15/30/45/60/75 (+25%AP) over 3 seconds per stack. If another offensive ability is used the stacks are lost and deal 15/30/45/60/75 (+30%AP) per stack.

E - Gunk Shot

Deals 80/125/170/215/260 (+30%AP) and applies a stack of venom. Slows enemies from 10% that increases to 35/40/45/50/55% over 3 seconds. 85 mana 8 second cooldown

R - Attack Order / Heal Order

Attack Order - Deals 150/325/500 (+40%AP) to an enemy over 2 seconds or heals allies from 100/125/150 (+25%AP) to 175/250/325 (+40%AP) based on missing health over 4 seconds. 100 mana 170/140/110 cooldown

Venema is designed to be a mid laner. Her abilities should be consistently up to be used to effectively poke/kite the enemy. She can deal bursts of damage in a short window of time and relies on deception of direction and her short cooldowns to take down important targets.

Champion Stats Concept Notes

Should have slightly higher health than normal mages. Her speed should be slightly higher and when she auto attacks she faces backwards. Her mana should be conserved early game even if her cooldowns are low.
