Briar, the Seed Lord (or Spore King)

READ FIRST- As there is a Void theme, I would like to see Zyra and Maokai (and even Malphite) have a growing number of earth/plant themed champions. Read the bottom for more details.

Vitae Mage/Support. Alternative names- Briar, Thorne, Oaken, Thistle, Lotus, etc.

(PASSIVE) Photo Synthesis- Click to increase basic stats for a small time and a small amount. *Alternatively, an other option could be an alternating 1-3 minutes (Day/Night schedule) power levels rise and drop with the passing of time, or a general boost in healing and move speed compared to other champions. ***

Basic Attacks- Vine whip- rapid fire, weak slowing attacks that chain to 2 others. Different from other champion mechanics. Flexible in development.

(Q)- Leech Seed/Imbue Ally OR minion cast- Move/Attack speed, health regen. Enemy Cast- Slow/Drain health, drops un-targetable seed after 3-5 seconds (levels with character) that can be picked up by any ally and gives a fraction of its health and a temporary move/attack speed boost.

(W) Razor Leaf/Leaf Shield Self Cast- Summons giant leaves and creates a highly reflective and poison coated shield around character to reflect damage and resist magic. (Similar to Annie's molten shield) Enemy Cast- Summons a storm of razor leaves coated in poison to on-click cast and land 3 waves with a high chance of critical hit, with an additional poison OR slow.

(E) Sweet Scent- Draws nearby enemy champions in to walk helplessly towards Champion for 1-4 seconds, with lowered defenses. Passive- Small constant radius around Champion of detection, with increasing radius on level up. Alternative- passive- nearby lane minions and jungle beasts have a chance to stop attacking, or do reduced damage.

Ultimate (R) Choose One-

(1) Summon Treants- Summon 3 Treants to attack for you for 20-40 seconds (percentage increase in Ability Power)

Treants are heavy tanky melee champions with a small inspiring/healing aura, designed to soak up damage or help push lane minions. (2) Natural Growth- Permanent upgrade in Champions attack damage, speed, heath regen, and creates a commanding aura. (Think Kha'zix's evolution choices, or Viktor's mechanics)

This champion is designed to heavily increase ally champions damage output, by either slowing or weaking the enemy, or boosting the selected team members. Similar to Lulu with choice casting, and also Karma with the ability to cast on any unit (lane minion shield/speed) Much thought was put into the abilities, and I leave room to play with. The Noxus/Demacia grudge has been around for a long while, and with fellow champions such as Skarner, Rammus, Ahri, or Wukong, it doesn't leave the origins completely unexplainable or unlikely.

Origin- can be changed around (obviously) but I would recommend coming from the same place as Zyra (Kumungu) and created from leftover magic from the Rune Wars. (similar to Rammus, original background story) and awoken seemingly randomly (Amumu) I would like it to maybe make a unique faction for itself, such as a Void/Nature conflict, and it would add refreshing new elements to the constantly growing universe of League, as well as appeal to the surprisingly large fan base in Plant based powers/Heroes.

Additionally, I would like to note I have been playing Blizzards Heroes of the Storm lately, and gave me some ideas for new gameplay styles. This is reflected in the ability to choose 1 of 2 Ultimate abilities, or the more common lane minion manipulation. The heroes that inspired me- Gazlowe- The Goblins second ultimate ability choice is a permanent damage upgrade and battle form, which is unique in itself. Abathur- my all time favorite- the ability to boost anyone, anywhere on the map has great utility and is really fun to play.

The Garden of Terror Map- The plant minions that you kill to collect seeds to power the Terror. Inspired by Bulbasaur from Pokemon for abilities and names.

I love League, and especially the thought put into the universe, lore, and everything else besides it, and I hope it shows with my references to fellow League champion backgrounds, and I would be greatly honored having a character I personally have created be at the very least Considered for creation.

Thank you for your time in reading this. :) summoner 31

I have played a lot of blizzard games, such as WoW, D3, HS, SC1-2, HoS. And at first, I thought this was going to be based off of a pokeman :p But mistaken, I do think it's a bit out of lore by adding "treants" of course if this was implemented, rito would have to make it LoL lore based. Passives are passives, there shouldn't need any interactions with them, so I think that wouldn't really work, but be based more on the armor and mag resist per level. The Q I do like, and see not much problem with. W - too much poison, personally, I think only one, or the other should have poison, not both, because that's a lot of poison going around, and not sure how it would apply as a shield. Putting poison on someone who attacks the shield wouldn't really make sense, and seems a bit op as a constant DoT. E- Secondary passive seems useless late game. And having and AoE charm as a regular ability is a overpowered. Paired with constant vision of enemies around? Bit op too, maybe if you changed the charm to a vine that he can strap to an enemy and pull towards him, but can hit maybe up to 2-3 enemies. Or just be able to send leaves out in an area to give sight on enemies. But both in one is way unbalanced. R - His ult seems too close to his passive as well, and I do see and evolution of a tree getting more epic, wiser, and bigger, but it seems a bit not needed if it just upgrades his basic stats, it needs to be a unique special ultimate that makes him, well him. As for the summons, I try not to comment on, because summons in game , seem hard to balance with their own characteristics and stats. Tibbers is an ult summon, so it has specialty to it, but its mostly for the AoE stun/burning or meat shield. Mordes is based off of his stats, and Yorick's are all summons with specialties, but they are all and only his attacks, so they can be specially made for each individual he needs, so he can dish damage [ aka, Q damage, W slow, E lifesteal, ult as a summon does I think 40% of his damage until he dies, then takes full effect.] But treants that have a healing aura, and high magic with tankyness, seems too much. Maybe you could split them up, being able to choose one of those three for his ult. Like 3 different choices he can summon, but only one choice at a time. Pick tanky first at 6. Its just tanky, level 12 a healing aura one, so you can either summon a healing one, or a tanky one, but not both at the same time.

Well, that's my two cents, sorry for long reply, D; [Also, the name of the champ is a bit misleading, I was expecting spores, fungi's, dirt, earthy. But this is more tree, life, and nature ]

Overall, good concept tho!
