New Champion (Chains Teaser Image)

So, me and my brother got to talking about it and he's honestly came up with some really amazing ideas for what this kind of champion could be.

Due to the color of the chains in the image, we have speculated that the new champion could be some kind of Demacian Prisoner. A menacing spellcaster with his magic locked away for his crimes.

We've speculated that his Ultimate could be some kind of form change, kind of like Aatrox's ultimate but functioning differently entirely. He uses no mana for his spells, but still has a mana pool. (for lore purposes, this would be in grayscale or have some indication that it's unavailable)

Upon ulting, there would be a 2.5-1.5 second windup time in which no spells can be cast, but he can move freely. After this time, his chains explode off of him, dealing small physical damage in an area and giving him access to his mana pool and ranged mage abilities. This form lasts until he runs out of mana to hold off the chains, costing large amounts of mana per second, (We were thinking like 120 or 150 per second?) or he recasts to do (limited) amounts of damage

In order to allow his spells to scale while in his ult form, we thought that maybe a percentage of his total/bonus ad could be converted into AP when he ults?

I still don't know anything about what other spells could do. Please leave your thoughts? We wanna make a full champion concept soon enough :D

That's so clever based off of nothing but a picture. How long did you guys talk? xD

That actually sounds really badass. It makes me think of a restrained version of Kayle. She's melee, but can freely empower herself to go ranged.

This guy, the one in the teaser, is physically menacing, but once he's unrestrained will legit blow you away. I could see some cool scalings in this cute. Make him AD in his base form, but when he turns into the caster, his AD converts into AP. The shtick here would be that he's very hard to itemize against, and due to his scalings becomes a late game menace.
