Sorry for bad grammar!

Here is my review of Anax, Demacia's Elite Guard

Goals:

  • Marksman with high mobility and a very aggressive playstyle
  • A shadow themed Champion
  • Deep backstory (I'm not very good with stories tho)

Lore:

"I found her unconscious in the forest" Said an old man to his wife whilst carrying a small child in his hands. When the kid woke up, she didn't remember anything. The man and his wife decided to take care of the kid after there was no one looking for her. The kid was named Alyssa and the girl really seemed to like the name. Alyssa had nothing else to do than throw knifes and daggers at the trees on the edge of the forest she was found from, because they lived too far from everything and there was no people living nearby. Alyssa's "Dad" thought that it's dangerous to let her play with those sharp things but he let her because it was the only thing keeping her happy. One day the man saw a dark creature giving Alyssa something and when Alyssa got back inside the house, the man tried asking her that what it was and then he started shouting at her because she didn't say anything. Alyssa went back to her room and picked up a portrait and said: "I wish dad didn't hurt you the way he did... I miss you.". Alyssa opens the box she was given by the dark creature and sees somekind of dark mist surrounding a dagger in the box. Alyssa picks up the dagger and then the left arm that she had lost trying to protect her mother from her dad starts reforming, giving her a hand made of shadows. Alyssa goes downstairs and there he is, waiting with a knife in his hand, ready to do something he had already done to his wife. He starts running towards Alyssa and then she throws the dagger straight through her father's heart, killing him and leaving Alyssa all alone again, or is she alone? The house starts shaking and Alyssa is petrified and cant move, then the dark creatures come from the shadows and says "Your name is now Syadi, come with us and you'll never be alone."

_Hope you understood even a little bit of this story _summoner 3

Gameplay:

Syadi is a really mobile marksman with a really aggressive/risky kit with huge teamfight potential. She has great escape possibilities at lvl 6 or higher. Syadi is like "Throw some daggers, go in and get out".

Syadi, the Shadow Kin Marksman

Health: 500 (+80 per level)

Attack Damage: 66 (+2.15 per level)

Attack Speed: 0.62 (+3.4% per level)

Movement Speed: 325

Health Regen: 6 (+0.75 per level)

Armor: 33 (+3.5 per level)

Magic Resist: 33 (+0.75 per level)

Abilities:

PASSIVE: Hard Training The fourth consecutive attack or ability against the same target gives Syadi 35% movement speed for 1,5 seconds and applies a "curse" on the enemy. "Curse" stays on the enemy even if Syadi attacks other enemies after the "curse" has been applied.

Q: Tough Shadow Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16 Gives Syadi 35/75/115/160/212(+10% AD) shield and when destroyed, Syadi gains 25/35/50/75/100(+25% AD) Attack Damage for 1 seconds.

W: The Lost Hand Cooldown: 22/20/17.5/14.5/11 seconds Syadi dives in to the shadows and becomes untargetable for 2 seconds. Syadi cant move while in the shadows but she can target an enemy and dash in to them taunting them for 0,5 seconds and dealing 2/3/5/7/10% of the enemy's maximum health as true damage.

E: Shadow of Disperse Cooldown: 14/13/11.5/10/8.2 seconds (2 charges) Syadi throws a slow moving projectile towards the player's cursor and deals 15/35/65/95/130 (+100% Attack Damage) AD. If Syadi hits E to an enemy with a "curse", the enemy takes extra damage from E and the curse explodes dealing 20/40/75/105/145 (+115% Attack Damage) to nearby enemies.

ULTIMATE: Divine Perfection Cooldown: 90/75/60 seconds Syadi can dash about 500 units to a target location dealing no damage (3 charges).

Hope you liked my concept! ^^ [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Is Tough Shadow intended to be on Q? I find it a little awkward to proc a shield from your Q. I would have put it on his W or E, since it seems like a buff ability to me.

When it comes to The Lost Hand and Shadow of Disperse, you have the "attack" abilities. Since she's a marksman, she would likely be using Shadow of Disperse a lot more than The Lost Hand, especially since the cooldown is the lowest of the three abilities. Also, it's a projectile. I main ranged champs, and it just makes sense to me to have this type of ability to be on her Q, even if it's slow-moving.

I would do it this way: Q: Shadow of Disperse W: The Lost Hand E: Tough Shadow

The Lost Hand stays on her W. Just a question about that ability, though. It says that she can't move once used, but the point of the ability is to dash to other enemy champions. If I'm not moving, how can I dash to them if they retreat out of range? I'd be a sitting duck, who's thankfully untargetable (and unseen? By shadows do you mean invisible?). Also, is taunting a good choice for Syadi? She's an adc, and likely to get herself into trouble by dashing to a champion and forcing them to attack her. It's like a self-inflicted blitz pull. I don't recall the times I've ever been taunted in League, but I'm assuming the champion moves towards you, as well, if possible? If you dash to the champion, how can they move towards you? And once you dash to them, you'd be putting yourself in danger. Rakan has an ability that dashes to enemies, but he knocks up, instead of taunts.

What if it was like this: Syadi enters the shadows, becoming untargetable as she dashes towards a target enemy champion. When she hits the enemy, they flee for 0.5 seconds, and Syadi becomes targetable again, but dashes back to her original position. Syadi can dash through walls and units.

This way, she can dodge incoming hits, deal some damage to an enemy, have them retreat, and she gets to go back to where she was. If you want, you could also design the attack to be in the shadows for the entire attack, being untargetable the whole time. Although, it might be redundant since the enemy is fleeing while you're dashing back, so you're not in any immediate danger during the dash back.

But now the flaw in my suggestion is that it's a targetable attack with cc. There's no dodge to it except don't be in range. I might have the first dash have a set range, and if the enemy can outrun it, Syadi just dashes back without making a hit.

Like the daggers adc, though. Like a ranged Shaco. It would be nice to have a second dagger thrower, since Draven is always permabanned.

Hope I helped. :)
