Constructive criticisms please. I'm more than willing to exchange ideas with the community, so feel free to suggest changes, to express concerns, or to point out lack of clarity/lack of coherence/grammatical mistakes/resemblance to other champions.

Appearance

Thyestes is a big muscular man with long hair and large hands. In my vision, he only wears shorts à la Muay Thai Lee Sin and stands in a “primitive” way, with both knees a bit contracted, the upper body slightly forward, and the arms behind.

Secondary Skin idea: Commando Thyestes.

Abilities

(Passive) Drink Poisoning: Thyestes’ blood reacts abnormally to potions, elixirs and flask. Each flask charge gives 1 stack of Drink Poisoning,Potions give 2 stacks, and elixirs 5. Attackers (basic attacks) are spurted by blood, dealing [stacks of Drink Poisoning] magic damage every 3/2/1 second for 6 seconds. Subsequent attacks refresh the damage.

(Q) Don’t Touch Me: Thyestes knocks all surrounding enemies back a small distance, dealing 70/100/130/160/190 (+ 0.55AD) physical damage to those caught. Minions and monsters hit cannot go through a wall. 18/17/16/15/14s cooldown. 60/60/60/60/60 mana.

(W) Earthsmash: Thyestes hits the ground with his fists, slowing surrounding enemies by 15/25/35/45/55% for 1.5s. 16/16/16/16/16s cooldown. 40/45/50/55/60 mana

(E) Squeeze: Thyestes stuns and holds the target for 0.25s, dealing 15/30/45/60/75 (+ 1.05AD) physical damage. Applies on-hit effects. 16/14/12/10/8s cooldown. 35/45/55/65/75 mana.

(R) Uncontrollable Anger: Thyestes goes into a powerful rage for 6 seconds, gaining 150/300/450 HP, 20/40/60 AD, 12/24/36% attack speed, 13/26/39 movement speed, and reducing the duration of crowd control by 75%, and automatically attack the nearest enemy champion. Also loses access to his abilities. 130/115/100s cooldown. No mana.

Base Stats

Health: 585 (+86) (Level 18: 2047) Mana: 210 (+41) (Level 18: 907) Attack Damage: 61.22 (+3.65) (Level 18: 123.27) Attack Speed: 0.642 (+2.6%) Armor: 27.99 (+3.6) (Level 18: 89.19) Magic Resist: 32.1 (+1.25) (Level 18: 53.35) Range: 125 Movement Speed: 350

Analysis

Thyestes is a heavy hitting fighter better suited for the top lane. His kit allows him to survive enemy ganks and set up good ones for his jungler. His E and his R give him good duelling power during the lane phase. When teamfights begin, Thyestes work with his team to bring the prioritized targets in the other team close. Thyestes can also be built as a tank and try to increase his Drink Poisoning stacks to deal damage.

He can pull his weight in the jungle, using his Q and his passive to clear lesser monsters while his E takes care of the big ones. His W and his E allow him to keep his opponents in place while his team closes in.

Lore

Thyestes always was one of the biggest kids in his village. Sometimes, others would defy him to prove to their friends they were not afraid of anything; often, these fights ended with the challenger unconscious on the ground, and Thyestes untouched. The best of them, however, managed to hit, and even hurt, him. Alas, they were not ready to face Thyestes’ anger; those were buried. These deaths were not sufficient for his blood thirst, and the village had to build some houses over and over again.

After a particularly violent brawl that destroyed a third of the village and nearly killed his family, Thyestes started realizing how much of a danger he was to his village. He ran away in the middle of a night, leaving his parents, siblings and wife behind. He traveled from village to village, not staying anywhere long enough that his strength would taunt the local citizens, and avoiding drunken people.

Hoping to find an inner peace that would allow him to prevent his violent outbursts, Thyestes took a boat to Ionia. What he found, however, was not a way to stop his anger, but to remain in control of himself through it. Not long after his arrival, he saw a transmission of a battle on the Field of Justice featuring Tryndamere and Gnar. Hoping to learn how to master his rage, he set out to see if they could teach him.
