Vogan - the Gloomwatcher


Background story: _I used to watch the world around me... I beheld it with pride. Saw all its glory and wealth. But the world around me changed. No matter where I went... no matter where I looked... what stories I heard or what I was told I just saw the world around me getting darker. It had lost its beauty... its glory that I so enjoyed gloating. It had turned into pale... dark and cruel arena of hatred.

I did what I had to. I did what I felt was right. I took the justice into my own hands and went on to get rid of the evil that destroyed, crumbled my once so beloved world. They say "the end justifies the means". No more wrong could they be. I too, once listened to those words, believed in them even.

Taking my blades to where I thought they belonged - to the hearts of those who allowed the evil to reign. I killed hundreds... each kill purified the world. The color started to return, recover.

In my suffering I now go on... watching the world that has all the colors it should have. But I, myself, am not what I used to be... what I wanted to be. I had gone around, killing people, that I called "monsters". I was told that the end justifies the means, sadly that's not the case.

Too late I realized that I, myself, was becoming a monster, the evil. All the time I thought I was getting rid of the darkness, the greyness in the world. But in truth it came to me.

Basic Information

Abilities:

  • Passive - Martyr's Diplomacy
  • Vogan deals increased damage to enemies that have harmed him within a short duration, increasing according to how much health Vogan has lost. [ For example if a unit hits Vogan, while has has 10% health, his passive gives massive boost to damage, compared to situation where Vogan has 90% health.]
  • Active Q - Stab of Justice
  • Vogan strikes a nearby target with his dagger, dealing physical damage and causing bleeding for a short duration after the hit. If Stab of Justice kills the target, the cooldown is reduced. If the target is under effect of Supreme Diplomacy the damage is greatly increased and cooldown reduced.
  • Active W - Supreme Diplomacy
  • Vogan marks a unit and suits his idea of diplomacy to protect his allies. If the marked unit is hit by Vogan's enemies, he can reactive Supreme Diplomacy to dash at astonishing speed behind the unit that harmed his ally. Vogan can also reactive and dash behind the marked unit if it hits Vogan's allies. Vogan can mark up to 3 units and travel to the one that breaks the diplomacy. The mark is consumed and Vogan has 3.00 seconds the reactivate the spell upon the break of diplomacy. [Vogan can mark either ally or enemy unit and dash to any unit that has been marked by him, if justice isn't met in his own eyes.]
  • Active E - No Witnesses
  • Vogan becomes stealthed for 1.50 seconds and removes all slows affecting him and gains bonus movement speed. Upon breaking the stealth Vogan slashes his daggers around him, dealing physical damage around him and slowing enemies hit for a couple of seconds. The stealth duration is increased by 1% for every 1% of Vogan's missing health. [A sort of escape spell for Vogan, allowing him to go in and hopefully out of the battle, while protecting his allies.]

So let me ask, is he (or it) a support or an assassin. His w gives off a support and a vanguard vibe, meanwhile, his passive, while making him stronger when he's hurt (that's a good idea, but it needs to be interactive besides being hurt and then being given a massive AD steroid which can create some stale gameplay which is "kill him as soon as you can") gives off the idea of a vanguard but the AD steroid makes him act like an assassin when he's low on health.

His Q getting reduced cd when it kills a unit doesn't make sense. Is it suppose to help him wave clear? but as a support or an assassin? I refute that his E doesn't help him protect allies. It's just an escape or an engage that allows him to kill people. Do you see it? If he's low on hp and his stealth duration is increased the lower he is, then this allows him to stealth and walk up to enemies, with his massive ad steroid passive, and kill them off easily which defeats the purpose of getting out and going to his allies for help (again, this idea seems like it's supposed to be a support ability, but acts like an assassin skill).

tl;dr: I propose that you revise some of the damage you included if he's gonna be a vanguard front-line support. Otherwise, if you're gonna make him into an assassin, revise or remove his W as it allows him to dash to allies for safety, and make his innate more interactive in terms for the enemy so they can set up a counterplay (instead of just "kill them before they kill you with their massive AD Steroid" This is very redundant in League).
