Summoner Icons for Owning X amount of skins.

I had an idea since a lot of people love to collect skins for their favorite champions, that after you gain a certain number of them, more than 2 so you can't get a new champions icon right away as that would take away from the entire idea of it, and also excluding PAX, Victorious, and other limited skins that aren't available anymore. That you'd unlock that characters Icon to show off you really love them. Tell me what you guys think, I'd also love to hear from Riot and see what they think of this idea.

I feel like this is unfair to champs with low amounts of skins like yorick, rumble and anyone that came out in the past 2 years.

True, maybe a grace period, so if they don't come out with many skins then after a certain amount of time, you could get the icon if you own the skins.

I'm worried about saying "you can't get this icon for a champion you love if you don't have money to spend." Existing icons are all really cheap (usually 250 RP), and this raises the price significantly. It's a cool thing for those who have it, but I feel that champion icons are something people are REALLY going to feel attached to. If I don't have a poro with cherry blossoms as an icon I'll survive, but if I'm, say, a Varus one-trick you can BET I'll want that icon.

I'd like that but doubt Riot would wanna make thousands of icons. :(
