Went to Phoenix Comic Con in this Jhin cosplay I have been making for about three months. Everything Is hand made but the mask. I commissioned the mask from Satanael Art on etsy.

I'm hoping to get better photos of it soon when I can get some time with a photographer. This was the first real cosplay I put a lot of effort into to make. I can say I really enjoyed how it turned out and look forward to making more and improving.

Jhin "I find your efforts.... Decent. However, I must ask, are you simply a copycat when it comes to my looks? Or do you act like me as well? A good performance is more than a costume. You must get every detail, every element, down to perfection. Otherwise, you're just playing dress up."

Very nice. I am yet to don the mask of The Virtuoso. This one will actually require some planning. My cosplays are normally characters of my design, except for SCP-049, who still needs a proper mask. I have some idea of what I'm doing. So much to do, so little time. I do wish you luck in your ventures.

That's pretty awesome!

In the future, you might want to sew/smooth out the robe/cloth part of the cosplay. Right now it looks a bit too saggy and more like a rumpled up blanket. But really that's my biggest gripe and something you could fix quite easily for future cosplay.

Very nice. For a first real cosplay, that's impressive.

For the armored shoulder, I'd recommend thicker EVA foam or Worbla to give it thickness, like a real pauldron. Thinner foam works very well for pieces that need flexibility. For the other shoulder, I'd build the shape out of sturdy foam or wire, then tightly bind the fabric to the shoulder to give it form while letting the rest drape down. Building that shoulder to look right is probably going to be difficult because it also has to be comfortable. But nonetheless, very nice job.
