LoL Champion Contest Idea

I have been apart of the LoL community for a while now and even before was fascinated by the champions and lore behind them. I was wondering if you guys have ever thought of doing a contest for making a champion. Like having your community members making full champions designs and concepts.Then the best get voted on the winner becoming a actual champion in the game.

League and Riot do have a lot of support from the community and is probably very close to the community. I feel like it would be a great idea to have a world wide contest to have summoners create champions and or skin concepts. I know that there are already some character and skin concepts posted to the forums but the general idea of starting a actual contest where summoners would submit champions or skins and have them voted upon with overall winner ( for either skin or champion) be picked by series of voting. there are some flaws but a overall great ideas.

I would agree on Skin contest but not on champion contest.

There are so many champions, that there should be categories. It would probably end up more like a tournament, but I doubt anyone would mind. Categories such as: cutest, scariest, fictional/magical. Those would be for fun, but there would also be weird categories sometimes. More examples would include; holidays/occasions, career/role (Officer Vi, DJ Sona, Striker Lucian and the Champions in the picture, Forecast Janna).

Or to be a lot simpler, Riot would choose 1 Champion, possibly also requesting a specific "look" for the summoners to create. If they did it this way though, you'd have to imagine there'd be way too many submissions for anyone to possibly go through. Say someone submits what would honestly be the best entry, but it gets lost amid the other millions of entries. That summoner also isn't famous or well-known in the League Community, so they don't have friends to fall back on and support their submission.

I personally would vote for having a yearly, or 6 month tournament. It'd be long enough to have lots of categories, giving more time for submissions to gain popularity and drawing out the festivities. Each summoner would be able to submit one entry only for any one category, but there wouldn't be a limit as to how many categories they could compete in. Thinking about it now, I don't know how they'd decide which categories would go before others. Hm....something for the drawing board.
