Alira , the Nature's Champion
So, i was a little bit forced to post this here by a friend of mine who actually loved the idea of my character, Alira. She is meant to be played as a support only. :) The picture of her was taken from an imgur post that i found and i think it's a perfect fit for what i was trying to make :D About her ultimate, i actually have two in mind, so vote the one you liked the most. I actually like the 2nd one a bit more, since is something that i've never seen in league before :D
=== Story time ===
Born in the royal family of the Demacian empire, Alira was raised in the demacian way, being thought that strength is the only option to survive. However, after years passed Alira began to show signs of magic, something that was against the Demacian rules. Her parents told her to hide to and to control her powers, eventually locking her up in their dungeons below their estate. There, alone, Alira had time to think and realize how wrong the Demacians were. In a stormy night, after having an argue with a guard,that used to be her best friend, Alira’s powers got out of control, to the point where the whole dungeon became a jungle, the prisoners and guards were entangled by vines. In that moment, the young princess heard a voice calling to her. A calm, lovely voice, something that she never heard before, even from her parents. “Come, my champion” The voice told her. At first, she freaked out thinking that she’s going crazy, but after hearing footsteps closer and closer to her, Alira decided to follow the strange voice, since now even her home is a threat. Like that, the young princess escaped the nightmare that she was going through and ran in the Elderwood forest. There, she found the calm and quite place that she was looking for, the place that would soon become her home and change her completely. Accepted by the Mother Nature as her own champion, Alira took a dryad-like appearance, wielding a giant staff, made out of wood and imbued with magic.
=== Abilities ===
Alira’s abilities aren’t fueled by mana, they are fueled my Serenity. A slow regenerating resource(10-15/s), in combat, that doubles the regen(20-30/s) while she is out of combat, in the bushes or in the jungle. The Serenity bar starts at 120 at level 1 and ends up at around 300 at level 18
P: The forest’s sanctuary Every mana regen that she gets will be converted in a shield. If destroyed, it takes around 30 seconds to regen and it’s cooldown is reduced whenever she heals or shields an ally
Q: Magic seed (50/55/60/65/70 Serenity, on a 9 second cooldown.) Alira uses the nature power stored in her staff to plant a magic seed on an ally or herself, healing for 60/65/70/75/80 + 30% of her AP. If the target wasn’t hit for 3 seconds, the seed blooms with a heal over time, healing 50 hp every .25 seconds for 1.25 seconds
W:Entangling vines (60/65/70/75/80 Serenity, on a 13/12/11/10/9 seconds cooldown) =Passive: Every 10 seconds, Alira’s next basic attack becomes empowered with nature magic, slowing the enemy(40% slow) for 2 seconds. =Active: Alira throws vine seeds on an enemy, dealing 50/60/70/80/90 + 40% of her AP magic damage to the enemy. After 3 seconds, if an ally or herself hits the enemy, the seed turns into vines, rooting the enemy in place for 1/1.25/1.50/1.75/2 seconds.
E: Forest’s bulwark(55-60-65-70-75 Serenity, on a 18/16/14/12/10 seconds cooldown) Alira orders the trees to protect an ally, or herself, giving them a 70/80/90/100/110 + 35% of her AP shield, lasting for 3 seconds. The shield turns 30/35/40/45/50% of the damage received into healing.
R1: Nature’s Voice (this ability gives her half of her Serenity bar instead of using any, on a 140/110/90 seconds cooldown) Embracing the true potential of the staff, Alira turns into the Spirit of Nature and for 10/12.5/15 seconds she is empowering her basic abilities, she gains increased size and removes the Serenity generation penality while in combat. =Empowered Q: If Alira heals an ally, the heal is applied to her too. =Empowered W: Alira’s basic attacks are empowered with the nature’s full power, rising the slow amount to 70%, while reducing the time between them at 5 seconds. The active instantly roots the target instead of waiting. =Empowered E: The shield now also grants a burst of movement speed when the effect is over or the shield war broke.
R2: The Forest's Veil(instead of using serenity, this ability gives her half of her Serenity bar on cast. 180/140/100 seconds cooldown) Alira orders the forest herself to come in aid, forcing all allies to be out of combat, also giving them stealth and setting the movement speed of the allies around her to 450 for .75/1/1.25 seconds. Once an ally leaves the area, he can’t gain stealth or movement speed again. After expiring, the movement speed lingers for a few seconds extra.
