Hi all, it's me again :) I have put a TON of efforts into this one, two months or so of work, plz take the time to read it and upvote if u like it!

EDIT: few changes have been made!

  1. Nerfed ult damage on early levels! Level 16 damage still the same.
  2. Ult explosion effect changes from 1 second silence to disabling enemy dashes for 1 second
  3. Added jokes to the quotes!

Dorahal The Reaper of the Void

Lore (Short Form) “Mortals spend all of their limited time on this earth searching for the meaning of their lives. Rejoice, you just found the answer: to feed us” A mysterious, deadly figure, Dorahal storms fields of death to harvest the essence of his victims. Be it the grounds of battle, disease or any other source for sacrifices, his twin scythes swiftly cut through any resistance with glowing power which originates from the depths of the void. While most see him as a void-born alien, some researchers believe his humanoid shape to be a proof that he was once a man, although they cannot explain how and why he transformed into the walking instrument of death that he now is. His goal has always been a mystery as well, but with the Institute of War putting an end to the battles throughout Runeterra, that has changed; Dorahal has appeared once again, this time marching into the institute, and demanded to join so that he may harvest the land’s finest champions for one purpose – gathering the power required for ripping the veil which blocks the void from our world, and unleashing its horrors upon us.

Base Stats Health: 590 – 2206 Health Regeneration: 7.1 – 16.2 Mana: 360 – 1089 Mana Regeneration: 7.5 – 18.8 Range: 150 Attack Damage: 52 – 141 Attack Speed: 0.64 (+0% - 66.6%) Armor: 27 – 91.6 Magic Resist: 32.6 – 52.2 Movement Speed: 340

Kit Abyssal Scythes Hitting an enemy champion with a basic attack grants Dorahal a stack of Abyssal Might, capped at 5 stacks. Dorahal loses the stacks after not attacking for 4 seconds. Each stack gives his basic attacks bonus on-hit magic damage equal to 10/18/26/35 (Increases at levels 6, 11 and 16) + 12% of his total ability power. Abyssal Scythes deals 33% damage against turrets and structures.

Harvest Range: 125 Cost: 75 mana Cooldown: 10 seconds Dorahal suppresses his target for 0.5 second, dealing 3/4/5/6/7 (+0.04 ability power) percent of the target’s missing health in magic damage. Killing a minion or a monster with Harvest refunds half the cooldown and the mana cost, as well as healing Dorahal for 5 (+0.02 ability power) percent of his missing health. Killing an enemy champion with Harvest grants Dorahal 3 stacks of Abyssal Might and 40% movement speed toward enemy champions for 6 seconds, as well as healing him for 10% of his victim’s max health.

Slashing Charge Range: 200 Cost: 40 mana Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Dorahal slashes with his scythes, dealing 70 (+0.3 ability power) magic damage to all targets in a crescent-shaped area in front of him. If he hits an enemy champion, he can re-cast Slashing Charge within the next 1 second to stab forward, carrying his target a short distance forward with him. If more than one enemy champion was hit by the first cast, Dorahal needs to choose his target. The second cast deals 70/85/95/120/150 (+0.5 ability power) magic damage and reduces the enemy’s magic resist by 25% for 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds.

Reaper’s Ferocity Range: 550 Cost: 80/85/90/95/100 mana Cooldown: 26/24/22/20/18 seconds Dorahal breaks free of all hard crowd-control effects and dashes forward, dealing 50 (+0.6 ability power) magic damage to minions and monsters in his path. This skill does not cancel slowing effects. If Dorahal collides with an enemy champion he stops the dash and tackles him, silencing him for 0.25 seconds, slowing him by 40% for 0.75/1/1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds and dealing 120 (+0.7 ability power) magic damage.

Crack the Veil Range: 600/1600 Cost: 150/300 mana Cooldown: 150/120/90 seconds Dorahal strikes the ground with his scythes, allowing the void to take over the terrain in an area in front of him. Enemies in that area are slowed by 80%. He then begins channeling for up to 3 seconds, increasing the size of the void terrain. When Dorahal re-casts the ability, or if the channel is broken, the void terrain triggers, disabling enemies' dashes on it for 1 second and dealing 200/375/550 (+1 ability power) magic damage but losing the slow effect. The void terrain remains for 15 seconds. While on it, Dorahal gains 50/65/80 percent bonus movement speed and 30/40/50 percent attack speed and each of his basic attacks grants 2 stacks of Abyssal Might. Half of Abyssal Scythes’ bonus magic damage is also dealt to enemy units in a circular Area of Effect around Dorahal’s target.

Ability Power Juggernaut AP bruisers have always been somewhat of a problem in League of Legends. By definition, a champion who gains strength from ability power is a champion who relies on his abilities to deal damage. Basic attacks are not relevant to the battle unless they are used to proc ability effects, such as Mordekaiser’s Mace of Spades or Ekko’s Z-Drive Resonance. Such kit is problematic for a bruiser, who naturally builds defensively in order to be able to dive the enemy team while resorting to one damage item, two at most. Such build means the champion would prefer an extended fight where his damage can pile up over the enemy squishy’s initial burst, something which traditionally comes from the unlimited supply of basic attacks – the one thing ability power champions don’t usually care very much about. For that reason, AP bruisers have been suffering over the years from being either too bursty (Mordekaiser, I’m looking at you) or too meaningless in terms of damage. With Dorahal, the problem is solved by granting his basic attacks an AP ratio, and a rather high one, but one that can only be unlocked through extending the fight. Unless he can get 5 basic attacks in a row on an enemy champion, Dorahal’s damage will be rather inadequate. This leaves a lot of room for the enemy to play around if they know how to deal with a juggernaut. However, if Dorahal can utilize his crowd-control to stick to the enemy until he gets 5 stacks, he becomes a rather scary opponent.

Laning Dorahal feels most comfortable in the top lane, where he relies on Harvest to sustain himself even against unfavorable match-ups. His abilities have low base damage at early levels, meaning he usually cannot trade against his lane opponent. However, if the jungler comes, chaining Reaper’s Ferocity with the root from Harvest can lock the enemy down for long enough to make sure the gank will end with a kill.

Jungling The sustain provided by Harvest can also be useful in the jungle. Going for the jungle over the top lane allows Dorahal to avoid those unwanted early duels as long as he doesn’t get invaded by a blood-thirsty Lee Sin or Elise, and although his clear isn’t incredibly fast it is a rather reliable one. Even though he lacks the early damage, Dorahal can pull out some effective early ganks thanks to the impressive amounts of crowd control in his kit; he can chain Reaper’s Ferocity with Harvest onto the enemy laner’s face to stop him from going anywhere, and if that’s not enough, Slashing Charge from behind can push the enemy away from his beloved turret while adding some extra damage to the mix. One strength that should not be underestimated is the CC canceling on his E; if he can taunt the enemy laner into using his/her hard CC on him before casting Reaper’s Ferocity, Dorahal can dash out of it and leave the enemy defenseless. And once he reaches level 6, Dorahal can look to channel Crack the Veil from inside an unwarded bush and surprise his teammate’s foe with an explosion of void terrain on which he can turn into an unstoppable force.

Teamfights Crack the Veil is the key to Dorahal’s teamfight potential. He can insta-cast it in a smaller area if the enemies are close enough to be hit by it, or rely on the slow to keep them inside while he is channeling. A more potent situation is when Dorahal teams up an ally with powerful AOE crowd control such as Jarvan IV or Malphite to engage for him. If that happens, they can combine ultimates and turn the area of the teamfight into a carnage field. Once the void terrain has been created, Dorahal becomes a true terror, being able to move very fast across the battlefield and generate stacks of Abyssal Might at breathtaking speed. However, all the power does not ensure him victory. Crack the Veil can be broken by any form of hard CC, resulting in much smaller void terrain. And if the teamfight is not right next to an important objective, the enemies can use their dashes and blinks to jump off the void terrain and escape the fight. However, the movement speed boost from walking over the void terrain will sometimes allow Dorahal to catch up with one of the enemies and lock him down.

I think we have enough taunt in this game but the concept is really nice. Can you draw or design something so we could see how the champion looks like? Just the idea of his look not something too much invested.

Why does he have handheld scythes if he is from the void?

Dude rly awesome qoutes though but honestyl the passive is too overpowered for the actual items in the shop if the would Bild Thema hybrid they would be no counterplay and he would be an towerburster

His kit is bullshit op. Two silences, a suppress, a dash that breaks hard CC, a huge slow after a silence and a 3 second 80% AOE slow that gives him movespeed and attack speed, doubles the stacking of his passive? Put a item 3115 and a item 3091 on him then full tank and he'd be doing almost 300 magic on hit, not including his actual damage. Coupled with the MR reduction on his ability and the MR steal from Wit's and, if you really want to be an ass-blasting monstrosity add an item 3001 and he'd be doing 350 nearly true damage per AA on squishies. Shit, what is that, like, 45 MR reduction from item 3001 l and item 3091 ? Throw item 3020 , item 3151 and item 3027 and boom, unkillable, unkitable, ~2.8k health, squishy-and-tank deleting monstrosity would have right around 2.0 attack speed with that build and his ult.

Edit: Still a pretty kick ass concept, though. Scythes are cool.

You get passive stacks by basic attacking and they are consumed by basic attacking. Am I the only one that's confused about this?

Base Stats Health: 590 – 2206 Health Regeneration: 7.1 – 16.2 Mana: 360 – 1089 Mana Regeneration: 7.5 – 18.8 Range: 150 Attack Damage: 52 – 141 Attack Speed: 0.64 (+0% - 66.6%) Armor: 27 – 91.6 Magic Resist: 32.6 – 52.2 Movement Speed: 340

7.1 HP regen and 7.5 mana regen level 1?! That's more hp regen than garen with his passive level 1. More mana regen than veigar with his passive level 1... His sustain is way OP.

Amazing idea but to me it feels to much like Kassadin. We already have a humanoid void creature so Riot would never accept this. If it had the origins for a different part of Runeterra i feel like it would be much better. Maybe the Reaper of Ionia or something.

I think this is a cool idea.
