In his early years, Paulus aided the Ionian citizens with his healing and prayers. It was enough for him to see the happy smiles and cheerful attitudes being brought back to those who had fallen ill. But there was a dark ticking in the back of his mind, trying to seduce him into turning his holy magic into something darker...

When Paulus was born, the Ionian priests saw that he could become a great aid to the Ionian people. From a young age, the priests taught Paulus the ways of their lives. By the age of ten, he was able to heal open wounds and cure diseases. When Paulus was tending to an injured soldier, an Ionian courier came to him bearing a message. Upon reading the small parchment, he tried returning to his duties but accidentally turned the soldier's injury worse. In an attempt to cure the soldier's boil, he had decayed the man's arm to rotten bone.

After the incident, Paulus was exiled from the monastery and shunned by the villagers. The faces where he'd usually seen a cheerful smile or a gleeful laughter had all but turned into a grimace and degrading shouts upon seeing him. He tried to scrape by living in the streets and finding scraps of food to survive on, but even that was made difficult for him during nightly assaults by the townspeople. One night, the ticking in his head had turned into a demonic laughter and on the brink of insanity, he lost his consciousness. A voice in his head introduced himself: "I am Baurus, and I'll be taking over now."

When he woke up the next morning, he awoke to the sight of his beloved town ruined. The homes were burning, the luscious gardens were rotten and the citizens were slaughtered; Some by disease and some had their blood sprayed all over the town square.

Terrified by the sight, guilt gnawing at his heart, he fled Ionia and arrived at the Fields of Justice, in hopes of finding a cure for the demon in his head.

Paulus, The Demon Priest is a Support/Mage champion excelling in healing his teammates, armed with buffs for his teammates. He's a backline supporter but when he lets his demon out he turns into a front-line mage, battling the enemy with curses and dark magic.

Passive: Demonic Healing- Upon taking damage, Paulus' heals for a percentage of the damage taken over time.

Ionian Kindness/Demonic Prejudice(Q): Heals target Ally/Blasts Enemies in a line.

Priest's Touch/Jester's Hold(W): Removes Crowd Control from Ally/Cripple's Enemy's movement speed while dealing damage over time.

Protective Grace/Impending Doom(E): Turns percentrage of health into a Shield for Target Ally/ Marks enemies in an Area, reactivating skill devours mark and deals damage.

Demonic Possession(R): (Toggle) Paulus' lets Baurus out, gaining increased ability power and health. (Passive): Gains Spell Vamp per skill rank/Paulus takes over, gaining increased mana regeneration.
