He loses out on his signature blade for something along the lines of Zed's blade. Considering Aatrox's fighting style is now known for huge sweeping blows, this is kind of a mismatch. It also doesn't really fit the theme of the other challenger skins (Nidalee, Ahri). The shift of Aatrox's skin tone and appearance to something more along the lines of a really big person in some armor is, additionally, another huge mismatch with his thematic. The purple "shroud" also feels kinda arbitrarily thrown in. Imo, the headpiece is also kinda... odd. The arms and blades give off the vibes of a blood-worn, golden warrior, but his headgear looks regal, and the purple shroud, while torn, still gives off vibes of regality, which I don't think works in your favor here.

The art itself isn't bad, but the prior mentioned choices leave a lot to be desired.
