how about an item like zhonyas for ad champs ? why should aps be the only ones to have that benefit

ADs get Mercurial Scimitar. APs get Zhonya's Hourglass.
There are more attack damage items with more attack damage based unique passives and actives.
There are no AP counterparts for: Phage Black Cleaver Critical Strikes as a whole, meaning Infinity Edge, Essence Reaver (plus the massive CDR boost it gives), Stattik Shiv, Rapidfire Cannon Mercurial Scimitar Hydras (Ravenous/Titanic) Bloodthirster/Death's Dance/Life steal in general, because the current 'Spell vamp' is absolute garbage on everyone except Vladimir.

AD champs have a lot more options for defensive items. AP champs do not. Thats why they get zhonyas. And even at that, its not the greatest b/c it makes you unable to move or cast spells for that 2.5 sec. Giving that item to AD champs would be utterly broken in so many ways. Its just a bad idea and has been for years when ppl bring it up
How about first we add 3 different armor items for APs?
Why should ADs be the only ones to have that benefit.
