Support Champion Concept

Hi Everyone! :D I wanted to post this idea here to get some feedback and see if I can improve anything. I will only post the ideas for the abilities for now. The exact numbers will be added once I decide if I want to keep these abilities or change a few. This champion is Sharis, a sand based support champion (who also happens to be Taliyah's older brother):

Passive- Guardian of the Sands: Champion kills and assists leave behind Sand Piles. If there are 4 Sand Piles in a small area, they will combine to form a Sand Heap. Abilities change depending if they interact with Piles or Heaps.

Maximum Number of Piles: 10

Q- Sand Blast: Sharis launches a blast of sand forward. The blast damages the first enemy champion it encounters and reduces their vision range. A Sand Pile is left where the blast hit the enemy champion or, if the ability did not hit an enemy, at the skillshot's maximum range. (This ability will work on an ammo system E.G Caitlyn traps).

Damage: 80/120/160/200/240 (+0.6 AP) Range: 1000 Units Speed: 1700 Mana Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 Cooldown: 7.5/7/6.5/6/5.5 Seconds (7 Seconds per Charge) Vision Range Reduction: 900 Max Charges: 2/3/4/5/6 Charges

W- Desert's Blessing/Desert's Curse: Sharis covers the targeted unit with sand. Allies are granted a shield for the duration while Enemies are slowed for the duration. Standing on a Sand Pile or Heap increases the duration of the ability.

Shield Amount: 80/120/160/200/240 (+0.75 AP) Slow Amount: 30/35/40/45/50% Cast Range: 750 Mana Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 Mana Cooldown: 10 Seconds Duration: 3 Seconds Sand Pile Duration: 5 Seconds (+2 Seconds) Sand Heap Duration: 7 Seconds (+4 Seconds)

E- Oasis: Sharis targets a Sand Heap. The Heap then transforms into an Oasis. Standing near an Oasis restores health over the duration. The Oasis then transforms back into a Sand Pile.

Health Per Second: 5/10/15/20/25 Health Per Second Duration: 10 Seconds Range: 800 Mana Cost: 60/70/80/90/100 Mana Cooldown: 15 Seconds

R- Quicksand: Sharis creates a pit of Quicksand in the targeted area that pulls enemy champions towards the center. Walking against the pull slows the enemy champion. Enemies who reach the center of the pit are rooted for the remaining duration of the ability. Additionally, Sand Heaps in the area of the ability create mini Quicksand pits. A Sand Heap is then left at the center of the pit.

Range: 600 Mini R Range: 350 Mana Cost: 100 Mana Cooldown: 180/150/120 Seconds Duration: 15 Seconds

I love the theme and concept you were going for, but it feel like the champion can be improved.

Passive: Champion's kills will create a sand pile. (like yorick grave) if there are 4 sand piles in a small area, they will combine into a Heap of sand. Champions abilities change depending if they are sand piles or sand heaps. Sand pile are permanent, but can only have 10 of them at a time. Sand pile's will decay after 5 seconds after being formed. (for thematic reasons: sand piles will not spawn in river XD sand charges will be refunded )

having control of when you have a pile or a heap is a better mechanic. and your abilities evolve from this. Zyra is able to spread seeds randomly as a passive AND can drop 2 or her own seeds on the ground. (You can use this as a skillshot, throw it around to set up traps or oasis for your allies before a fight, even if you don't hit a target the max range of the spell will leave behind a sand pile.)

Your q is the bread and butter of the character, but without it you are unable to cast anything else, which is a problem. Hence the chance in passive. Champion can carry 5 charges. each charge takes 8 seconds to build up.

Your W is basically like Syndra's, where she can pick up her resource from the ground, but n your case is there is no sand around you, you cant heal or shield allies before a fight. which is a problem. your passive is a better spell and is roughly the same idea.

W - Passive:Champion can target a Sand Pile and blink to it's location and sand pile is consumed adds 1 charge to his Q. Active: Champion can turn sand Heaps into an Oasis instead. Oasis: Allies and Champion can stand near an Oasis to restore health up to YYYhp. (Like a mini fountain) After Y seconds, the Oasis turns into a Sand Pile.

your e is weird in a thematic sense: it grows a plant? and it give out an aura of resistance, is a bit weird.

New E - Champions targets self or another champion. creates a sand bubble around them for X seconds. self and Allies have increased resistances and deal X DOT, If they \walk over sand piles it adds 2 seconds to duration, walking over sand heaps stops the timer while on it. Enemies are slowed and have their vision reduced. and if they step over sand piles it adds 2 seconds to duration, walking over sand heaps stops the timer while on it.

for your R, i would just add: If there is a sand heap nearby your ult, it turns into a mini quicksand. after the duration, a sand heap is left behind at the epicenter.

now your abilities have synergy with one another and better for support and survival. play around with the ideas if it doesnt suit you.

I love this concept but I think the "E" is out of place. I like how the champion's kit seems to be centered around the pillars for the most part. I think E should work with them somehow.
