tank tryndamere with thornmail

So i was wondering what I should build with tryndamere. I saw ssundee play tryndamere, so i got him and he fits my fighting style very well. BEsides that, I was wondering about putting thornmail on him in my build. I get , , , and sometimes . Yet, I got thornmail in a 1v1 between tryndamere (me) and garren (the opponent). It was a buy because I had some leftover coins from the other build, so i got it. It was when I got to fighting that it caught my attention. Whenever i got hit, garren got damaged and i got fury to heal with bloodlust. There was no way that he could win! So, in conclusion, I was wondering if this happened to anyone else or if anyone has a comment on this. (:
