Changes to Ahri kit?

So there are some questions going around about 'improving' Ahri to make her more mobile and bursty for a more quick successive ability power mage with some reductions on her burst sustain (in some sense) and i'm not sure why she needs to be changed, personally i feel her kit is basic but comfortable to use, is there any need to change a perfectly good kit to make things more interesting? I know this is a long-term discussion as she is a rather old and favourable champion, although i would agree that to keep her as a valid champion against some of the newer mid laners a kit change may help her out, just dont make it drastic :)
