We need more references!

This probably isn't quite the right board to post in, but this suggestion sits between a few different boards so I'll leave it to Riot to move it somewhere else if they wish!

I was browsing through Twitter earlier, today being the day Marty McFly arrived in the future in that trusty old Delorean, and I noticed Riot Support were getting right into the Back to the Future mood with their comparisons between Ekko and Marty, and Zilean and Doc Brown. Cool stuff. Extra nerd points to Riot.

I responded with fully fledged nerdship, noting that Sion would be Biff in this scenario, and I am proud to say they seemed to like the idea. Kindly enough, they linked me to this forum so I could forward the suggestion to the community to see what they think.

In short, we need more references. In this particular case, Back to the Future is a fitting example. A full set of skins would be pretty damn cool - an Ekko carrying a hoverboard and wearing that orangey hat that Marty had in his visit to 2015 (maybe a recall animation that involves lightning and a Delorean, or the famous guitar scene where Marty plays Johnny B Goode on the guitar), a Zilean/Heimerdinger skin with Doc Brown's hair and lab coat, a Sion based on the 2015 Biff with that little silver hat he was wearing.

Now that's just skin concepts. There are a whole array of quotes to be used in conjunction with these skins. As suggested by Riot's support account on Twitter, an interaction between Sion and Maokai; while fighting, Biff Sion could use the "make like a tree" quote. Here are a couple of ideas I'd like to add to the roster:

Doc Brown Zilean/Heimerdinger: Shouting "1.21 Jigawatts!" when an enemy/allied Kennen ults nearby. Doc Brown Zilean/Heimerdinger: Mentioning 88 miles per hour when someone fast (Yi? Hecarim? Maybe unique to the Piltover Customs Blitzcrank skin? Maybe we need a Delorean Blitzcrank skin...) Doc Brown Zilean/Heimerdinger: Generally just shouting "Great Scott!" all of the time. 100% of the time, always. Never stops. Am I kidding? Who knows. Ekko McFly: When slowed by Tryndamere's W, he could say "Nobody calls me chicken!"

I'm sure there's a way to incorporate mention of a Flux Capacitor of some kind. And probably the one about not needing roads. Ya know.

So that's the Back to the Future side of things started off. I'd say there's plenty of room for other classics, Star Wars being one worthy of considering as long as nobody sues anybody else.

Anybody else got any ideas either relating to Back to the Future, or maybe any other classic references?
