Will there be a champion that utilizes whips?
I know we have Thresh which is kindaaa close, but we don't have a champ yet that fights with a whip. Could be interesting!

I see two routes this could go. One would be for a rather cruel character, as the act of using a whip against another person as your standard attack kind of requires cruelty, or it could be used as a skill animation instead. Something reminiscent of Indiana Jones and the way he uses it for utility or disabling an opponent, rather than outright harming them.
In spite of what Marvel / DC / Thundercats / and Indiana Jones would teach you, whips aren't a sound weapon.
I have not done the art yet but I intend for my concept to have a wip to go with its "beast master" type theme. The W would wrap the wip around an enemies neck keeping them from moving a fixed distance away from the champ.
seems like that might be good for an Eve rework....just sayin

Seriously this whip champion would be ridiculously logically hilarious, killing champions with barrels of rum is pretty dumb.
I've tried to think like Riot. They wouldn't just use a simple whip, they would change the weapon so it has a second function (Like Aatrox - not simply a blade, but one that can be extended. Or Jayce - not a simple hammer, but also a cannon).

This could be cool but I feel it would fit a support champion with more of a fast attack speed but low damage and the whip could leave a bleeding effect like

yes disarming whips with a bleeding passive, brang it on!! maybe if u catch a target with the whip and they try to flash out or juke in a bush, the whip would stay attached and extend, and you could follow them. "you can run but u can hide!!" if your looking for an interesting way to change the way the world looks at whips, you gotta see some cool reference material first: Cat'o'Nine tails, razor wire is like a whip but its all super thin and great for cutting on all side in any many, check out Lyserg Deithel, Aero vs Ada and the butler from Helsing for cool razor wire ideas.
