Dual wielding weapons for darkin doesn't make alot of sense, since basically one of these weapon would be the darkin and the other one just a regular sword, as long as you don't want to:

  1. Give the same champion 2 different darkin (which would be unlikely to happen in the lore, especially that both are the same weapon type)
  2. want to split a single item in 2 weapons (would be weird, why would they do this?)

Additionally, since we already have a sword type weapon with Aatrox, I prefer something different. We just have a sword, a bow, and a scythe. I would like a blunt weapon (hammer, mace, flail, etc.) and a defensive weapon (most likely a shield) for the next darkin.

I was thinking an Ascended who instead of being overtaken by the Darkin weapon, is one with it. The opposite of Kayn. They work together and refer to themselves as "we".

The weapon being a long Katana.

I'm kinda surprised riot hasn't reworked Mr Tibbers into being a darkin.

I kinda want the Darkin Lance, possibly a Darkin who, during their time trapped in the weapon thought about their life, and through reflection found closure on their betrayal, the Lance's mentality now would be almost Zen, believing in moving on with their life and coexisting with the mortals, guiding others down the path to peace.

In game the Darkin Lance would play as a support, their passive would cause them to start with their lance as an item, which would be its own pre-built support item, here's the concept for that really quickly. Just noting now, all numbers given from here-on out are theoretical, I don't know how my balancing senses are so I just wanted to make that clear in case the numbers were off

-The Darkin Lance Price: 0 GP +5-90 AD +25-195 Health +1-18 Armour +1-18 MR +0-10 CDR +1 gold per 10 seconds Passive: Not your fight Gain 2 gold when an enemy minion dies near you (Usual support item range, requiring an allied champion nearby) Active: Warding Strike Make a Kayn-style skillshot (W) with a 400 unit range, knocking back all hit enemies 250 (+1 per 10 bonus AD) units and dealing 15-110 (+10% Bonus AD), physical damage, using this ability also grants the nearest ally a 10-100 (+25% bonus Armour) (+25% bonus MR) shield. (35-15 second cooldown, killing a minion puts the effect on a 20 second cooldown if the current cooldown is shorter).

The Darkin Lance's Q would probably be a 550 unit dash, rooting the first enemy hit and slowing all others by 50% for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds, as well as dealing 30/40/50/60/70 (+35% bonus AD) physical damage, acting as a useful engage tool and providing synergy with the champion's passive. (maybe 15/14.5/14/13.5/13 second cooldown)

The W would cause the Darkin Lance to spin, destroying all projectiles in a 250 unit radius and healing allies in the radius by 15/30/45/60/75 (+ 15/20/25/30/35% bonus Health), as well as giving a 15% speed boost, no effect on enemies in the radius. (20 second cooldown across the boards)

The E would see the Darkin throwing their lance as a skillshot, damaging all enemies hit by 50/55/60/65/70 (+65% bonus Armour) (+65% bonus MR), and applying a 35/40/45/50/55% mutilate effect, the lance then stops at the end of its travel, allowing the ability to be recast to pull the lance back, healing all allies it hits on the way back by 50/55/60/65/70 (+65% bonus Armour) (+65% bonus MR). (18/16/14/12/10 second cooldown)

The R would possibly see the Darkin Lance empower an ally for a few seconds, granting them (25/35/45% bonus health) max health, giving them a 25% speed boost, and causing them and all allies within 450 units of themselves to heal for 50/75/100 (+5% bonus AD) health per second, additionally, during the duration, the active effect of the Darkin Lance casts from both the allied champion and the Darkin Lance's own positions, this buff lasts 8 seconds (120/100/80 second cooldown)

please tell me what you think of this champion concept, any feedback is welcome

Well the next Darkin will be female, she will be named Valeeva, she will be Varus's sister, she will be more sadistic than Varus but shares his lust for revenge, she will represent the Scales of Justice, meaning she will probably be a rivaling force to unite Kayle and Morgana against a single enemy... or she might be made up of Kayle and Morgana, like how her brother is made up of Valmer and Kai, turning them into a co-op champion like Cho'Gall from HotS. But crazy fan theories aside.

She will probably look different from the rest of the Darkin, since she symbolizes balance, she will probably have a gold aura with pale purple skin, wings, while still having flesh armor on her hands, back, and legs.

Her weapon will probably be chains, probably with shields at each end of the chain to throw at allies. She may have a staff or a sword along with the chain, which could possibly split in two, one being dark purple the other gold, but that again feeds into the theory that she will be a fusion between Kayle and Morgana.

If her kit isn't just Kayle and Morgana's mashed together, it will focus around taking from enemies and giving to herself or allies. She will probably be more of a control type champion, locking enemies down and torturing them as they are helplessly rooted in place, but again, that leans into the idea of the fusion theory.

I think a darkin with a shield would be really cool. I'm imagining a very aggresive, dark-themed Braum.
