Pool Party Orianna
I spend a lot of time coming up with concepts for league and this, by far, has become my most liked and most successful. Excuse the drawing because I'm not exactly an artist but this was the base design for my latest concept: Pool Party Orianna.
Now, this idea came about when I tried to create paradoxes between champions, and I thought this skin would be quite fun to do because robots don't do well in water, but after playing around with it a bit and showing a couple of my friends, everyone seemed to really enjoy it. She's enlisted with all the basic pool party skin themes: Goggles, Beach Ball, Floaties in replacement of her skirt, (I added the riot symbol for extra brownie points) and a red + pink one piece bathing suit.
** Q - Command: Attack** Clearly, she has her beach ball that she freely moves around, casting a splashing water effect to wherever it lands.
W - Command: Dissonance Creates water creases to where it vibrates, with small seashells as the outer casing, for design's sake.
** E - Command: Protect** So basically my idea revolved a lot around something similar to Lulu's pool party shield, with seashells and all that jazz but just less vibrant, less design and more of a plastic looking vibe, because she is a robot after all, and I always liked how her shield captured a visual of a hamster ball.
R - Command: Shockwave I thought the most obvious choice of design for her ultimate would to be a simple whirlpool, because it's exactly what her ultimate is. Splashing sounds included!
Other Cute Add-Ins Of course it wouldn't be a decent skin if it didn't have special interactions, so I was thinking that maybe she can get additional quotes, as in complaining when she gets wet, (she IS a robot, after all) or maybe special interactions with other pool party champions. As for ultimate, I thought it would be cute to have a small interaction where her ball is playfully splashing Orianna with water. Of course, these are just ideas and the riot team can build upon them as they please.
I understand that Pool Party Skins are one of the most popular, and one of my personal favorite skin design sets, (aside from bloodmoon, good call, Riot.) so this might not even be considered for a while, but I had a lot of fun creating this design and I hope Riot actually notices this post and gives it some thought. My only request is that if they do make it into a skin, to keep the simplicity of my design. Orianna as a champion is meant to be sleek and minimalistic, so I really wanted to capture that in this design with the things like the one piece bathing suit and the minimal changes in her overall appearance. Orianna was the first champion in league that I purchased back when I started in season 3, so I thought she could use a little appreciation <3 Thanks again to those who assisted me, and I hope that Riot gives it a chance!
