New Champions Ideas

With the recent addition of Rek Sai and Kalista, I've been thinking about champions that are yet to come out. This post is based specifically off what I would like to see within these new champions.

First and foremost, there is a lack of support characters. Many of my friends describe support as a boring role to play, which I disagree with, but can see why they would think that. There are very few good support characters. It narrows down to Thresh, Janna, Nami, Leona, Morgana, Braum, and Sona. Which, when nearing a 100 character champion roster, is not an impressive amount of support characters. I think riot should take a step toward encouraging support by offering another support champion that could possibly play another role, but still offer that "pure support" sort of feel.

Besides support, the jungle lacks as well. There are several more good, even great junglers, such as Udyr, Jarvan, Elise, etc. However, I think riot should either buff some old jungle champs (like Nocturne, Rammus, or Cho Gath) or bring in a new one specifically equip for the new jungle. This means a way to block / counter attacks , do a decent amount of damage, and have a stealth or speed ability to efficiently gank lanes. Rek Sai was a great start, but I think another base jungler needs to appear to keep the appeal of jungle.

Lastly, I want to see a champion with something new to bring, like they've been doing with many champs. My idea is that they bring back the ap carry. With enough attack damage characters in the game, I think ability power carries should be focused on, allowing a smooth counter to the standard adc.
