[Champion Suggestion] Krino, Adjudicator of the Stars

Soraka was stricken with grief. With every starfall that she summoned, she grew more and more uneasy. She knew, in fact, that he was coming for her. She could sense his looming presence. He, who was known by the immortals as Krino, Adjudicator of the Stars, was coming to seek justice. Legends speak of the Great Judge, born from agony and joy alike. The stars called to him. They told him of a great agony, and Soraka was the root of it. Krino transcended the stars to seek out the source of their pain.

Krino, Adjudicator of the Stars Type: Magic Caster, Ranged Appearance: Large black glowing orb, surrounded by a blinding white aura

Passive: Each time an enemy is hit by Krino's ranged auto-attack, Krino gains 3% movement speed at a maximum of 9%. The buff lasts for 5 seconds and can be refreshed upon hit. Gravity Pulse: Krino sends out a small black orb that, at first, travels slowly towards its target. It accelerates as it gets closer. After hitting its target, the orb surrounds its target, slows it down, and damages any nearby allies for 3 seconds. (skillshot ability) Event Horizon: After activating this ability, any allied champion touched by Krino has its movement speed increased. Any enemy champion touched by Krino has its movement speed decreased, and takes X amount of damage per second. (can be used with The Vision) Pain of the Stars: Krino's body color inverts itself (his inner core is white, surrounded by a black aura) and emits a powerful wave that heals nearby allies and damages and slows nearby enemies. The Vision [ultimate]: Krino attaches himself to an enemy champion and allows the champion to see the answer to the universe. If Krino survives for 3 seconds, the enemy takes 300/500/700 damage + 25% of his maximum health in damage. Krino is healed for 1/2 that amount.

Isn't ult too OP?

Isn't ult too OP?

I can see how it would be considered OP, but would you mind telling me how you think it's OP? Is it because of the damage, the healing, or both? I think that by Krino attaching himself, he is making himself vulnerable to enemy attacks. He can't do anything in this time period. So if he attaches himself to an enemy, and the enemy runs back to his group of allies, then Krino can be nuked. Therefore the player must be smart about when and where to use the ultimate. The damage and healing can be adjusted if necessary.

I would Nerf the Max health to current % of health. if a support has no form of escape and its lower then %25 health then it is an instakill and would be deemed to high of a %, so i would change is to current HP. Is he also vulnerable to CC and is he suppressed on an enemy so he cant do anything if he ults? You didn't list any of this, but i dont mind the healing on the ult because if you had him suppressed while ulting then if he takes damage then the heal would help get out. Why i say if hes suppressed if that is would be to Over powered for be latched on with out the enemy being about to stop you, so changing the ult to, While ulting Krino is suppressed and cannot move during the casting of his ultimate.

Hey, good questions.

Krino's ultimate is designed to be a risky play that rewards good decision making. Yes, he cannot do anything while he is locked onto an enemy after using his ult. He is completely vulnerable to damage for X amount of seconds (3 is ok). However, he cannot be stunned, pulled, displaced, etc. If he survives that vulnerable time, then he deals a lvery large amount of damage to the enemy and also heals himself. I am thinking it would be good for him to return to his previous location after The Vision ends. Or he could just hop off nearby.

Regarding the damage, it does seem a bit much now that I think about it. It probably shouldn't be 25% but it should still do a significant amount since it doesn't do any CC. Your suggestion of 25% of current HP is good. I'd also add X amount of damage for scaling. Like 300/500/700 or something.

I think this is a great idea, although the abilities may be a little overpowered unless their scaling was either based on health or simply had bad scaling, would gravity pulse be likeLux e? and i think event horizon should either boost your movement speed and a teammates or just the enemy in range each cast kind of like how Jayce 's speed gate only boosts his allies speed and doesn't slow others, if it was a skill shot tho like Orianna then possibly. With pain of the stars i feel that the range would have to be small, maybe like the size of Leona ult. But overall i really like the idea, especially with the connections between time, health and slows.

Thanks for the feedback!! **Gravity pulse **would be like Ezreal's skillshots, except you click on a target. It will follow its target until it gets impeded by either an enemy minion or an enemy champion--kind of like Cait's ultimate except minions can also block it. Once it hits its target, it will surround it and start "pulsing." Each pulse slows in a small radius around the target, including the target, and also damages.

With Event Horizon, I kind of like how it is now. It can both slow enemies AND boost allies. Remember that this ability, once activated, only works on champions that are touched. Krino must risk himself if he wishes to touch an enemy or even an ally who is near an enemy. I think this ability greatly diversifies Krino's role, and allows him to be an AP mid as well as a support in bot lane. Heck, he can even build for top lane.

Yes, I agree that PotS's range should be small. It is a pretty powerful ability and as such, will probably have a longer cooldown. The great thing about it is that it can be used with virtually all other abilities---in fact, all of his abilities synergize very well with each other. I created this champion with synergy in mind. I also didn't want to pigeonhole him into one role, so that was kept in mind as well.

As always, thank you for your constructive feedback! I welcome more. :)
