New Cho'gath "Q" proposition

Cho'gath slows his movement speed to empower his legs. Everytime Cho'gath walks, he causes an earthquake in 2 zones:

*Outer zone slows all enemy champions and monsters in its vicinity.

*Inner zone will knock enemy champions and monsters.(? seconds cooldown.)

Q range gets bigger everytime Cho'gath gets a stack in his ult. I beleive this Q change fits his character well as a Void Kaiju. I posted this yesterday but I got no feedback, and I hope this time people would tell me what they think about this.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Although this is cool, Cho needs his high range Q for any chance of approaching his enemy.

I have to agree with Thaum on this, Cho NEEDS the long range on Q to avoid getting kited to death or catch his victim. He is already super immobile, and this would make him LESS mobile. And his E already slows anyway. Not good for his kit. If you wanna make a NEW champion concept using this idea then feel free.

Ooooh, I like it! But how about, instead, a 3-tier circle? Enemies in the inner circle take 200% damage, enemies in the middle circle take 100% damage, and enemies in the outer circle are knocked up and take 75% damage? The effect would be a crater, with the outer circle blossoming up, like craters do.

And just a normal single-cast. Something that knocks up every step (100 units?) for 2 seconds wouldn't work. Especially if it slows an already slow champion.

Cho gath already struggles to get in range of anyone. Slowing himself might as well be a self root

Or just make it passive on ultimate when he reaches X number of stacks. Allowing him to ignore unit collision and deal percentage of max HP as physical damage while walking over enemy units.

he does need the range, but I would love to see instead of being a circle, I'd rather it be more like braum's ultimate.

I main cho, but I've only been playing league for two and a half years, and I believe he is fine the way he is in terms of abilities, he does need to become bigger at certain numbers of ult stacks, and he should gain stomping audio if he is big enough. Also if we were to be lore accurate, cho should be huge from the beginning (Which I wouldn't like).

I don't think you're supposed to do daily reposts until people respond.

This concept must be applied to Malphite not Cho'Gath.

I mean you could just walk/flash at people with righteous and immediately catch them out. I think this is creative, and fun thematically, but extremely broken in practice.

Plus how does his inner circle work with just sitting on someone? Can he chain knock up?

I personally think he is fine the way he is, and generally disagree with unavoidable cc (targeted ala polymorph/Lissandra, or far too large of an AoE/counterplay is just don't be near them ala Mumu/Nunu ults/this)

I get it is cool but then instead of being reliant on a q cd he becomes reliant on item 3800 item 3742 and items tht have similar effetcs to close the gap to even be able to use his q. cho is an immobile champ the only way for him to get on to any kind of range is literally to q
