Pucking Purrfect2 votesI remember one of the Reds said that something they planned for Ao Shin wasn't working out, so they put him on indefinite hold in that they ''might'' come back to him ''some day'', but currently have no plans to do so.
Also, Ao Shin's been canceled like 3 times already, only stupid weeaboos keep thinking Riot gonna make him. Ao Shin is such a flawed concept from the start and I don't like dragons at all.
Another thing, Meddler gave some info. about the champion concept Ao Shin, which was originally previewed over a year ago as an upcoming champion, to share that he "won't be soon":
"TLDR: Ao Shin someday, won't be soon.
Slightly longer version: We spent a bunch of time working on Ao Shin but ultimately concluded he wasn't hitting the mark so put him on hold for a while in order to figure some things out. We still think his concept's really cool, as is some of the stuff we were trying with him, so do intend to make him someday. Don't expect to see him anytime soon though, we'd rather be slow, but do a better job of delivering on his potential, than quick. That's a process some other champs have also gone through (Lee Sin, Elise and Azir for example), where it took a few different takes to hit on what we felt was the right one (Lee Sin originally as Blind Monk way back pre launch, Elise originally as Priscilla the Spider Queen, Azir originally as Seth the sand mage), ultimately yielding better champs in the long run we feel." As for how soon, he noted:
"For purposes of these sort of timelines the start of 2015 counts as 'soon', or even 'very soon'. Ao Shin's genuinely a long way off sorry."
He continued:
"His name's certainly something we'd want to talk about, assess whether 'Ao Shin' is still a good fit for the final version of him we get to. Can't offer you any thoughts on likelihood of that though at the moment, it's not something we've looked at yet."

Also just because you dont like dragons doesnt mean the concept is bad, you judge it too much because of your personal feelings about dragons.
Also you dont know what Riot is gonna or are planing for Ao Shin so just blatantly stating that he is never gonna get released is a no. He will get released, one way or another. To this day Riot has not abandoned Ao Shin like some of their canceled champions.
Dont know why people jump the gun with Riot comments, they just dont wanna talk about it, even though some fans poke them in the head about it. It will be done when its done and until they say otherwise, he is still an upcoming champion, not a canceled one.

We do not know how he will move, attack, or sound like. We do not know what his abilities will be or if they will mainly focus on the enemy team or your allies. And we know diddly poop about his personality. We do not know enough to make any form of judgment, so I have no idea how you managed to convince yourself that he is terrible without anything to go on, but you could of waited for more information to start hating on him. At least then your opinion would not be as easily dismissable as a child's opinion on his dinner, even through he has not even tasted it once.
Sukishoo2 votesThey said not too long ago that Ao Shin might not even be his name... champions go through so many concepts and changes that it could be a long time before we see anything from this idea. They had said they didn't even have a kit for him, and that he'd been pushed back due to design problems.
We may never even see him, so it's best to just move on and forget about it. If he comes he comes, if not, oh well.
