as warpenguin said, they're projecting him to be released 2016. That was the latest update. They however do not have a specific date/month down so no one probably bothered to update the wiki.
they said he wont be ready until 2016 more then likely. also he will probably be an AP tank instead of an assassin.

They said not too long ago that Ao Shin might not even be his name... champions go through so many concepts and changes that it could be a long time before we see anything from this idea. They had said they didn't even have a kit for him, and that he'd been pushed back due to design problems.
We may never even see him, so it's best to just move on and forget about it. If he comes he comes, if not, oh well.

First of all you're late with that information second, Ao Shin fits the mage role(in my opinion) and is more likey to be put in that role because of his abilities there was a pic by riot somewhere im too lazy to find it
